The 348 is a great car and it's nice to see it getting the recognition that is deserves as the last non-power assisted Ferrari, the last mid-engine 8 cylinder Enzo car, etc. Keep 'em, take good care of 'em, and enjoy 'em. :) And remember to thank Dave Helms for solving any unsolvable problems with these cars.

I had mine for 20 years, and I always thought it was brilliant. In a recent issue of EVO, they compared all the V8 cars, from the 308, through the 458, and to their surprise the 348 had the best steering of ANY car the writer had ever driven!

I know that time will be good to the 348. Hopefully, all the bottom feeders don't run them into the ground and destroy a wonderful piece of Ferrari history.

Cool video. Nice to see he appreciates it for what it's worth. He isn't comparing it to everything out there. He is simply enjoying that model. Very unbiased video. Thanks for posting.

I could kiss that man. 348 is my all time favorite Ferrari and his assessment made me smile the whole way through it. Wonderful review!

Tom's experience very much parallels my own. I really enjoy the 348 and find very little to complain about. I was a little surprised that he didn't mention that the seats are a little on the narrow side and don't fit a person with a more generous stature very well.

He overstated the price of a good 348 a bit (you can get a reasonably good example for about half of the $60K that he mentioned) but that's okay. Having it stated on TV might just push the price back up a little.

Hopefully that'll be the case. I think I have reason to be optimistic for a 348 of my very own in due time. :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Tom is a great guy, shared many of drinks with him. The guy can drive too, he has raced for decades. Too bad he doesn't have Dream Car Garage going anymore, but this new project looks good.

I wasn't involved at all. Tom and his crew made the video, I was there at Crescent Tour, and I know the owner Doug & Susan out of KC.

You can also check out the videos that Tom made of the event overall. Good times.
