I am in. Will need to follow up as I just purchased a fiorano and do not yet have vin info
I purchased VIN# 110530 a few weeks ago. I owned a 430, but it just felt large, sold it for a RUF RGT and it was great for a while. It just was not a Ferrari. I have always love the looks and the position of the 355 in the company's lifecycle. So sight unseen I broke all the rules and bought it. 8,100 miles It has been at Penske-Wynn since it was shipped in. Should be out next week. here are a few shots. Enjoy in good health! I happened to be out in Vegas the week after X-mas. Took a stroll through the dealer there and saw what I imagine is yours up on the lift. The engine had been pulled when I went by and two techs had opened up the pumpkin. One was inspecting the innards and the other was inspecting your headers. I remarked to my father how nice the paint looked. Small world.
I recently became the second owner of a fine 95 red/black radio delete 355 with 8500 miles. Serial number is 10024 and it was manufactured in July of 94. I am wondering if anyone has seen an earlier serial number in the of this model in the USA? Trying to determine if it was one of the first ones imported.
http://www.ferrari355registry.com/Ferrari_Registry.asp?pYear=1995 Quite a few earlier cars in the US. Looks like the earliest is 99902 not counting Challenge cars. There's also one '94 car listed as being in the US, but I would guess it was brought in later and not originally sold in the US. Only about a third of the cars made are listed on there, so I would guess yours is somewhere in the 50-100th car in the US.
You are right--that was mine--closest to the window. It is very good condition over-all, and has had two majors in its life, though only 8100 miles. The unfortunate part is all the "little things" that need to be addressed due to age and letting one of these sit. I am getting antsy waiting for it to be done.
I have 101351 which is an early GTS from what I have found - yours being a GTB at 100241 would be in the 50th-100th range as previously posted I believe. Beautiful car!!! Congrats, enjoy and DRIVE IT - Cheers
sorry..... Low mileage cars -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just checking guys and gals. What is the lowest mileage 355 you know of? I'll start, April '98 car, 723 miles. It is not my car so I am not giving out any #s. Is that a yellow one?
Wow you went the other way! I would be curious on your over all thoughts. Most people go newer. Thanks and beatifull car by the way.

thanks Jeff I have always liked the design of the 355 and its size-not to mention the that engine, but was always afraid of the niggling and not so inexpensive issues about which everyone reports. I bought the 430 at the bottom of the market, but I never got comfortable with it. It did everything I could have expected, but it did it all just a little too well and it felt too big for my taste. Add to that the several occasions of random vandalism, which, in all honesty, were offset by the many times I was able to thrill children of all ages by taking photos of them in the car with their cameras when all they asked for was to shoot the car. So a year has gone since trading the 430 and I have put aside my concerns about the issues with the 355. I can't afford a daytona so I see it as a transistional car. It has the classic gated 6speed, but for the period, a modern engine. Like the RUF the only electrics are ABS so anything I get myself into, I like knowing its going to have to me that gets me out of it. No DSC keeps me honest. We will see what happens in a year. I have never bought a car I didn't expect to keep forever, but (except for the '03 M3) never kept a car much longer than a year. I think that is why Doug at Switch Cars loves me.

Great looking car Extreme! My wife's condition on getting the car was that it could not be red, that yellow was high on my list, it is a great color for the car.
