    Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone you here know someone at Century West BMW. Tonight, both my son in law and daughter went in looking for a car and there didn't have a good experience. However, they did find a car that they really liked. The gal who helped them tonight was not very professional and insulting.

Beginning of the year I bought a 550i for my dad from Century West. The sales manager sounded snobbish, not very enthusiastic. Since than I purchased a B7 Alpina and a 535I from Valencia BMW, didn't bother going back to CW.

This seems to be a common experience in Los Angeles area BMW dealerships. I can not speak to Century West but Santa Monica BMW and South Bay BMW were both poor experiences for me.

The sales people at Santa Monica BMW ignored me and about three other couples who waiting for anyone to help us. At South Bay the sales guy insulted my girlfriend when she called him out on something he was trying to sneak into the deal. I ended up buying an Audi.

I've done 3 deals with Alexander and they were great to work with, including one completely over the phone that included a perfectly timed swap in my driveway on my way out to a birthday dinner.

I had a bad experience with them about 10 years ago and moved my business to Pacific BMW. Then I had a bad experience with Pacific, so I don't know where to go now (if anywhere).

Thank you all for your 2 cents.

The sales gal treated both my daughter and son in law poorly making them feel very low because they drove in with a Hyundai to trade in (which was his car back from collage days).

The sale gal ASSUMED that they really don't belong in the BMW world and in fact she approached them by stating, why can't be look at other cars that are more affordable.

The truth is, that my son in law and daughter pay more in taxes than this gal earns selling cars.

The car they inquired was listed for 32K and they asked if they can do a deal at 29K, wow, it was seemed as if they committed a crime. He is a top notch Lawyer with a major firm in L.A. and she is a bankruptcy paralegal queen working for another sizable law firm in OC.

Although they are careful about their spending, by no means 3K on this car would have been out of their budget.

I only did post this because, they feel in love with the 2dr 3 series and if there was one good apple out of the entire box at the dealership that can salvage this deal, I wanted it make it happen.

I doubt it very much if they would go back to this dealership again.

Center BMW is actually a great dealership to work with (especially on the service side).

If you're looking a for BMW, shoot me a PM. I have a great BMW guy.

LB and Crevier are the two I like the most. I took my dad to Crevier and now he is getting himself a 1-series. LB has been good to me for almost 17 years. Alexander, Pacific, not so much. I'll drive the distance to the other dealers to not get the attitude.

In their defence though, those two dealerships have the highest lemon law returns of any dealership in SoCal. The loss prevention in that area is not good and a lot of salespeople are losing comission checks to this.

Kevin Hite, McKenna BMW in Whittier. The last BMW sales person you will ever need to talk to. 562-345-7113. Tell him Vince sent you and that you are with the SoCal Ferrari group. fatbillybob will swear by him as well. The new 3's just arrived. I've bought 3 cars from him and send many people his way, none of which had a single complaint. A true gentleman and professional.

Bob Smith in Calabasas or Long Beach BMW are the best. Don't ever go to Beverly Hills BMW- which by the way has moved to "Miracle Mile" and is nowhere near Beverly Hills

Mission accomplished... I was able to find my old car salesman back back from 1990..

His name is Ron Demps and at the time he was employed by Assael BMW now known as BMW of Monrovia. I had purchased two cars from Ron in the old days. What a relief it was knowing someone was there to help.

Ron remembered delivering a BMW to my estate in Arcadia at the time and also remembered my daughter an eight year old back then. It was very happy moment for all of us and a touchy one for Ron to be in still in business and selling a car to my daughter.

Ron went out of his way to get his management to ship a car from BMW Beverly Hills in order for my daughter and son in law to test drive.

A deal was made with ZERO haggling. Now that I found him, I want to let everyone know of another great guy in the car business. If you are in the market for BMW, please consider working with Ron.

Thank you all for all of your feedbacks...
