Hey all, Thinking about getting my interior parts for a 360 carbon fiber wrapped (3M). Looking for pictures and feedback of how it looks, any problems with it, etc. Thanks!
Pls don't do that. You're better off getting a carbon console from macarbon, rtuned etc. Else, send your parts to guys like Robson Design and they will carbon wrap for you. In real carbon, not sticker. Good luck.
That's what I'm thinking. I definitely do not a cheap looking interior! Thanks for the advise. What have you heard about RTuned? I've heard mixed reviews with their products? Not fitting correctly, etc.
Talk to John at MaCarbon, he has top notch stuff. It is an overlay of the oe parts but your fitment is guaranteed!
Nothing wrong with wrapped mate. Just a personal preference. I do not really like the weave pattern of the 3M film thats all. And I also desire for a glossy finish. Your 360 is very nicely done up with the film. I've seen really bad examples.
RTuned had some bad press on its poor fitment for the door cards. The center console and the rest so far has been A.O.K.
Thanks guys! I'll check out Rtuned and MaCarbon. I read the article about the door cards at Rtuned, too bad because the finish looked good. Igpr - your wrap looks great man, nice work!
I've been meaning to do a thread on a 360 which we just finished up at the shop. But since people are talking about the 360 doors, attached is a picture of the passenger door from our latest car. FChat is killing the resultion of the shot though! Note the door has a few more pieces than just the hockey sticks. Installation takes maybe an hour a side for the weekend wrencher. I think it beats a vinyl wrap or a low-end brand. Note that to do a vinyl wrap (at least do it so it looks good) you need to take the parts out of the car. So you'll have just as much labor as installing a CF package. Later in the week (if I get time) we'll have an install guide for the doors and the other interior parts. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I had the Macarbon in my 360. The fit was excellent, it transformed the interior of my car from dated to modern. I had the dash, radio, center console with cup holder, and doors done. I highly recommend them to anyone. This was my 2001 360 interior, it is now owned by a fellow board member... Image Unavailable, Please Login
John@MAcarbon - Those doors look great!! I know they'd look even better in person. Look forward to reading the install guide you get out. I haven't attempted to take off any of the interior parts yet, but will soon when I switch it over to CF. Burner42 - The black w/red stiching looks unbelievable!
lol, I looked at the picture before seeing who posted it and was like "damn that's a good looking interior"...then I realized that is my car now . BTW, it's not MaCarbon inside, at least, the invoices are from Valence USA, LLC. http://www.valenceusa.com/360.htm . Or is that also Macarbon? Pretty damn pricey stuff I have to admit, and I'm sure both of us are thankful it was installed on someone else's dime . Here's some more pics of the CF interior parts: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
We don't manufacture for Valence. They roll their own. MikeR all you are missing is a OEM looking CF steering wheel! And love those factory seats! The photos DO certainly show that CF looks great in a 360 with a black interior. Of course, we think it looks good in a car with any color interior! See the pics below for some lighter interior colors. One thing is that CF photos either really bad or really good. If it looks bad, either a flash was used or its REALLY bad. When the photo looks good, keep in mind that the camera won't capture the surface detail that your eye does. Much of what you appreciate in person is the clarity of the clear, smoothness of the surface, and consistency of the carbon. (Sounds like someone at a jewelry store selling the three Cs!) And there is Photoshop to worry about of course! I'd say if you want to do a vinyl wrap, go for it. It will get you part way there for little money and you can judge if you like it that way, want to go back to silver, or take the plunge and go with CF. @ John@MAcarbon - The more I see the actual CF pictues, I think I just need to go ahead and fork out the extra cash and go in that direction. I think the wrap looks great and really updates the interior, but I know how I am and I would be kicking myself that I just didn't go ahead and do it. The glossiness the CF puts off looks so good. I have black interior so I know it would really make it pop, like MikeR's interior (All of the pics posted look great, but I'm a little bias with the CF and black interior) I do love your seats MikeR!! I just received my yellow tach yesterday so I'm excited to get it installed (hopefully this weekend) and then get the CF ordered!
Wow, love what you did. I really like your steering wheel. Would you mind telling me where you got it? Lino
