Ah, I was focusing on red/blue with "prototype SV headlight surrounds" as you noted.

Couldn't have been my former 4884 because that car had side markers..

I think the first 12 in terms of date delivered is about right (its never a hard number with Lamborghini in the period), but this isn't just based on the list alone, its based on observations of particular cars over the past 25 years.

Thanks again. Just been looking at your previous 4884 in your book and the first few paragraphs of your interesting story on the car. Was Modena Car the US importer? If so then that also rules out 4872. I thought wrongly that it was an Italian supplier.

4840 also ruled out. No air con and was reportedly 'Jotad' before first delivery by Righetti so Mr Sackey is correct - 4864. I wonder where the car is today and if still in its original colours?

Interesting similar "Miura-Style" grilles on :
SIMCA 1200S Coupe (1962-1971) Bertone / Giorgetto Giugiaro...
    and MATRA-Michelotti Laser (concept - designed 1970 - presented 1971) Giovanni Michelotti :

So, perhaps should we say "Simca-Style" grilles ?...

That's what I meant when I mentioned the Pantera or whatever car was featured in the Scarface movie ... some car with those grilles looks just like a Miura in the Al Pacino film .

as for the videos ... ( the last one )

I really love real world scenery featuring otherworldly Miuras

No matter how many good pictures or films a person can see of a Miura, they do not prepare you for how low the car looks when seen in the flesh, and not low in a small diminutive way. It looks lithe, agile, powerful, muscular, sleek, jaw droppingly beautiful and fast and its lowness is big, awesome even. This video however from about 0.07 on demonstrates how low it is in relation to other cars.

I couldn't agree more with you

In fact I've seen 3 of them

my first sight at a small show in Chicago in the early 90's

I was amazed at how this car looked equally modern and vintage at the same time !
also I recall my mates didn't believe that car was the Countach predecessor ...

then I've seen 2 more in Mexico , a silver one at a car show and an arancio inside a house in a rich neighborhood

Pieter, another Miura that resides in Belgium? Don't think I've ever seen it.

It states in the above link (you may have to copy and paste) that SV #5036 was shipped to Australia and then shipped back to Italy to be converted to RHD. Is there any proof that this car and SV #5002 were actually converted to RHD inside the Lamborghini factory at St Agata?
