A friend and I got ours today at the same time and only 60 miles away. Yeah USPS!

Matthias, you have outdone yourself, better than a banker! Congratulations are in due order.

I dare anyone beat this sort of publication. Actually, wouldn't it not be great if Matthias would start one on, well, GTO's and there are only 39 or so out there, easy...

    Regards, Alberto

PS. Thank you for using my photo, I am very pleased and flattered.

    Wow. This book is fantastic.

The first read through the book was so enjoyable, I wanted to light up a cigarette when I was finished...and I don't smoke!

    Seriously, well done Matthias.

Yes, tracking is very poor with usps. Hope everybody gets the book on time. ps: I was home at time of delivery but you, at least mine, needed a signature delivery confirmation. IMHO that is very appropriate for something this valuable.
    Cheers,
    Bob

Picked mine up today from the local Post Office which was holding it hostage (signature required...as it should be for this). I was worried when I learned that it arrived at San Francisco Customs on Friday the 13th, but it arrived in perfect condition.

Unlike movies that get rave reviews until you get around to seeing them and are let down due to unrealistic expectations, an initial pass thru the Compendium indicates that stereotype couldn't be further from the truth. Truly amazing and professionally mastered.

I guess anyone that gets their Dino judged will now have to expect lower scores since judges will now be better informed on what is correct and what is not...

Matthias, just got my copy of the Compendium, just did a quick look, but from what I have seen this is a masterful book. Congratulations on a superb effort ,one of the best books to be produced on such a special automobile The Dino. By the way it only took a little over a week for delivery and the tracking on the net was very accurate.

We unanimously agree that the book is a must have and I would recommend it to beginners, who will find in a row many useful informations before a possible purchase/restoration and to more informed people as well, who will find confirmations to their knowledge, new facts for discussion and some beautiful and sometimes totally unseen pictures. A true work of passion and I really appreciated the courageous choice to print it in such a high standard edition ! Bravo Matthias !

I just received my second copy, and I am going to order a third: One compendium for my friend and Dino owner Marc O., one for my mechanic, and one for myself. The book is truly unique, excellent and highly instructive.

That being said, for me the compendium would have been even more valuable and interesting with the addition of a few period driving impressions and tests, for a complete picture. I even looked for tests in the index, thinking that they would surely be included (such as Paul Frere's test of the 206).

I realize that this might not have been part of the book's objective, and I love it as it is. This is just an observation.
