Miller Motorcars sold a 2009 with 1355 miles - rosso corsa/black for $207k abour 2 weeks ago....
Down by your left foot if in the driver's seat, right foot if in the passenger seat. They cover the welds, made by apes per Top Gear's Jeremy.
matty - when are you getting that black beauty? What all are you having done to it on the way to your home?
Car is scheduled to be shipped out Tomorrow through Monday, depending on when the shipper gets there. Studio 47 will then do a full fluid change and install the Hill Engineering skid plates, and the RSC Tuning exhaust. Then Todd Cooperider takes it for full detail / correction. Then they put on the clear bra. Then it gets shipped to me. Best case scenario, car gets to New Albany on Tuesday next week, service and exhaust completed Tuesday, detail takes 2 days, clear bra 1 day, car ships out to me around the 30th of January. I would get it Feb 7th. That's in a perfect world. Just got the paperwork from Bentley Chicago today, money was wired last Friday, paperwork went out to us next day air on Tuesday, but late Tuesday, and because of the weather up here it took 2 days. At least Mike will get to see it, and Todd said he would take pictures of the detail process, kind of like Bradan does. Works perfect for me because of the road conditions here. I could never even get the car up my cul-de-sac and into my garage with all the snow.
Sounds great. Its going to look brand new when it shows up...you won't want to drive it ;-) Please do share pics with us along the way...
Will do, first it has to get there. For those looking to ship a car enclosed, rates seem to be up this year. Diesel only came down 40 cents, then right back up. Quotes were all over the place for the 5 hour trip to Esoteric, ranged from $510-900+. Quotes from New Albany, Oh. to WA. are $1700-$2100, and the auctions coming up in Arizona will be a factor I have been told/warned.
They are out there...send me a PM and I am happy to point you in the direction of 2 2009 with 2K for $185K to $190K with every option..only providing the facts..great value as the scuds are amazing!
No, haven't even tried because I'm being lazy and I love the CS and just can't keep both due to space reasons and because they are so similar (although I would if I had the space perhaps). So...I'm being lazy and just assuming a red or Titanio or Silverstone Scud will fall into my lap locally here so I can trade the CS and *voila* have the Scud. If that takes awhile I'm cool with enjoying the CS for more time!
That is eerie! I too am thinking about a 612...ummm...where did you drive that? Fwiw, it has to be an "and" CS/Scud and not an "or", right?!? One of the thoughts that passes thru my feeble mind is that for the extra $$ to go from CS to Scud, I could just about get a 575 and have both...but then I "like" the 612 better than the 575...decisions, decisions...let us know what you do...
599GTB would be better, CS for the back roads, GTB for high speed cruising. Almost bought a GTB instead of the Scud, but I have no need for a GT car.
Ya know, that is what I was thinking bu then (putting on flame resistant suit) I drove a 599 recently (back to back with a 16M and a Cali) and...I just wasn't "moved" by the 599. Its an impressive car and beautiful, but I didn't "get" it. It isn't a CS/Scud sportscar obviously. And, yet it isn't the "best" GT I drove that day - believe it or not I liked the cali (!) more...I've driven a 575 before (but not a 612) and I liked the "lower level of refinement" and far lower price point vs. a 599 on a "value" basis. I think, for me (and me only and I realize I'm likely crazy) the 599 is "too nice" to be a sports car, but not as GT like as the Cali or 612. And, at $180k++ for 2007/2008 its just not "value" relative to a $90k 2003 575 or a $125k 2006 612. I dunno...off topic for this thread (sorry OP!) but that's what I'm thinking on that...I really need more garage space...
I need more space too. Cars are cool. Guess it might be a tough call comparing the torque of the 599 V-12 to the seamless tranny in the Cali. I agree on the 575m's, also came close to buying 2, the silver 2004 from Penske/Wynn that sat for 6 months at 119k, sold for 99k. Really liked the yellow one Ruf Auto Center had with every carbon option, but it had had a small accident. 2003 that sold for less than 100k. My limit used to be 1/2 of original retail or less, buying the Scud has changed my philosophy a bit. Now I have moved up to 2/3's of retail or less.

Challenge Stradale *AND* 612 HGT2! The two cars are polar opposites. They share virtually nothing - except fun!
Whenever I read comments like this they are almost always from wanna-be buyers. Wait 60-90 days and they will be back posting pics of the Scud they bought..or they just go on dreaming. Why else would anyone take the time to talk about values if they were in the market?
With no added Alcantara...had Techno-fabric seats.... I believe there was another sale at Ferrari Newport for a car with similar specs as this one for $205 in the last 30 days (my of been 45 days)
I have to agree, what happen to this forum? Seems all the topics are people moaning and now trying to predict where cars will sell for once they have sold? I find it so comical someone looking to buy a used car for 180k would never pay 190k? As if hahah so funny. Like OMG the car is worth 180k but not 190k? Hahah really? Either way this forum should be more geared towards Ferrari f430 and things about them not geared towards people who are bored and want to talk about what cars might sell for, its now at point people are posting cars for sale and trying to give their views what the car will sell for? Are we that bored nothing else to talk about? kind of takes away from the meaning of Fchat if you ask me. Sure the odd post here and there in regards to going rates but full on 3 pages debates about a car being over valued 10k or what it will sell for is really pointless imo, and serves zero purpose to this site. I am sure I am not the only 1 who feels this, lets get back to talking about great things about these cars and the owners who enjoy them. Talking about nonsense is worthless.
Well buddy you are wrong, I bought it and even provided the VIN to a few members who were interested.... not everyone is a dreamer and provides unrealistic speculative prices...
+1 when are we going to stop with the 'I one upped you because I only paid xxx, and you paid xxy' Tiring..
