An add on topic is what type of plating process is OK for a certain kind of part? Electroplating: hose clamps simple brackets vacuum booster Mechanical plating: calipers hubs critical bolts fuel lines suspension bolts/bushings Is mechanical plating even available for small batch runs...?
Call Dave or Dave. Either will be glad to help I bet. My bet being only book smart, if the part is in NOT in any way stressed, or safety related, standard processes are probably ok. Everything else gets the $$$$$ treatment.
