US 308 QV priced at half-market price in Europe?

I am gunna say "SCAM."

Reasons:

1) I do not think that is a EURO model (running lights), but not 100% sure,


2) Not alot of Palm trees in Italy (see background) as I recall, but they do exist. White picket fences are in short supply too.


3) The license tag that is blanked out IS US style, NOT the elongated Euro style. There would be no reason to have that tag (US style) on that car.



But who knows. I have been know to be wrong before.

 

That is a scam for sure.
It was recently on ebay with the same pic with what I believe was a location of So. Cal.

Also note that it has ABS and Airbag

 

Those are not ABS convex wheels so ...... I doubt it has ABS? ABS was a very late 80's offering IIRC.

 

Yes that is why I was pointing it out that it was in the ad
Also the airbag which no 308to my knowledge ever has

 

used my broken french and reported it to autoscout as potential fraud

Is this car not owned by a fellow fchat member? I recall this 308 being proudly showcased by its new owner. If I remember correctly, this car had a small dent on its roof just after the targa top. I could be wrong, but my memory can't be that bad. I'm only 38.
