0466 M in 1957 when raced by Enrique Casini in Brazil. Car was light blue metallic with white lettering "CASINI" on the front fenders. 0466 M was originally two-tone painted and raced in the April 1956 Mille Miglia on #559 by Joao Rezende Dos Santos and co-driver Arauyo. Later in South America it was changed to single windscreen. Note also separate access port for the radiator cap. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love it! Crying for a resto, but if it gets a resto some will cry. Not sure which side of that fence I'm on.
I've been looking at these pictures all day trying to figure out what I'd do.. most likely I'd build a new body and keep the old one with the car (or as a static display, not unlike how it sits today). The gauges look really nice compared to the rest, leading me to believe something is happening with it. Should be interesting to follow.
Great Photos. Post more from the show when time permits. Thank you from all of us on the wrong side of the Atlantic Ken Goldman
That looks like fun onebugatti Wish I could have made Paris this year but to much on my plate, enjoy the show I saw a couple things in the Bonhams auction you might like so you should definitely take a look. Zac
"Gentle restoration" should be a term reserved for the Daytona that ended up in Simone's collection, Dino C or J6.. this one isn't driving anywhere (safely) without some serious work IMHO. That being said, I hope she'll be rolling under her own power.. and hopefully down PCH one day.
Car looked great at the Mille. Fantastic shot on page 156 of the Red Arrows book. Excellent restore point IMO. The accent dash in Brazil looked neat too. Does anyone have a colour image from this period?

Its got to be bought back to the way Ferrari wanted it in the beginning. Give the car life. Regardless no one will deny its a great piece of machinery.
