Could someone break down the market price on this car using F430GT's guide?...
I paid $195K for an 08 in Oct....Red with 1,740 miles, US Carbon but no alcantara....1 year CPO....probably overpaid but they took my trade and I'll use them for service....it's the only car I looked at....the extra $10K or so I overpaid is long forgotten after a few months....the car is amazing....
Asking price $209000 at Long Island 08 Scud Red exterior VIN ZFFKW64AX80163944 2700 miles, alcantara, Carbon front diffuser and rear spoiler. I gather around $197k. Am I at the ballpark?
With all the recent sales on the scuds over the last few months and spring right around the corner it actually seems prices are creeping up. It seems many dealers are learning Scuds are in demand and an easy sell next to the going rates of 458, the scud is a better car than the 458 and 100k cheaper win win for everyone, the dealer wins by making quick sales of in demand car and the buyer wins getting a better car than a 458 and saving a bunch. For all the guys complaining over 5 to 10k on a 180 to 200k purchase better act fast before they are all gone haha, seems all the new buyers are falling in love with these wonderful cars and don't seem like they will be parting with them anytime soon. The longer you wait on the sidelines worried about spending 5k more for the right car the smaller the pool for worthy cars will get. Going going gone boom.
Hey Joe, is your 458 gone down in price yet !! bet it did wait till the summer comes you,ll give it away, you should of kept your 430 ????
This appears to be a very nice car, and well optioned. I like the fully finished interior look, incl. some type of alcantara aftermarket floor mats. Using that ever so popular pricing model... $185K - $5.4K for miles + $10K for US CF package Comes up to ~$190K. This car has other nice options (e.g., BATA) so may adjust this figure upwards a bit. FWIW, I've observed Ferrari dealerships asking between $15 - $20K over what the pricing model suggests, and independents more like $5 - $15K over. DL
I closed the deal on mine today. Picked up an 09 for 199, 2.7k miles, red w/ race stripe. I'm sure some will say I overpaid, but I hope once it arrives I'll be diagnosed with selective amnesia.
Actually, it didnt because I sold both of my 458s And just recently bought a 1984 Boxer and a 16M, both of which were bought in a depreciated market. Any other witty comments?
Great deal, especially if it's the car you wanted. The premium others will tell you you paid doesn't mean squat once you get out and enjoy the car!
Freshmeat, If you're satisfied, and I'm sure you will be, who cares what anyone else thinks. Enjoy your new car. Sounds great.
I agree with a lot of your sentiments but making the subjective statement that the Scud is a better car than the 458 is opinion, not fact.
This one seems to be priced close to the market. http://lamborghinidallas.com/Dallas/For-Sale/Used/Ferrari/430/2009-Scuderia--Car/7062229/
