With 8 new drivers on the grid, 3 with no F1 experience, who will be the first driver fired? My guess will be Grosjean. Did nothing the first time, expect more of the same. Especially with Raikkonen as team leader.

I disagree. Grosjean was not ready the first time around, but he has worked hard to overcome that and will do a much better job this year.

It's hard to say, it depends upon how Kimi drives--like a world champion or asleep at the wheel. There is a surplus of driving talent available for Formula 1 these days: Rubens, Sutil, both Toro Rosso drivers performed competently last season. Trulli is just taking up space.

I suspect it will be Karthikeyan.
Grosjean went back down to F2, won the championship, and now has a second chance. I doubt he will be fired first. I wish him luck.
Pic was strong in F2, he may do well.
Vergne is a RBR guy, so I doubt it will be him either.

Nah - He's bought a big sack of gold with him. And HRT need all the gold they can find.

    Cheers,

Yeah, I was thinking about that. I was relying on his past track record (pun intended) of keeping a seat.

Grosjean is managed by Boullier. He wont be leaving unless he completely folds. Kimi is the one who has catching up to do. He has alluded to that and the team have basically said they will give him to the halfway point to show his colors. The car will be the question. Unless they have a winner built neither is a factor in the WDC. If they fired both with a weak car, who cares.

Grosjean annihilated in GP2 last year...Bit of a softy though, not a fan.

Yup...Kimi hasn't driven on the new Pirelli's whilst Grosjean has (GP2 also uses Pirelli P-zero, to help the transition to F1). Grosjean was very quick in GP2 last year. His last stint in F1 wasn't very good but that could be because he got called up all of a sudden without really driving the car...I hope Kimi can beat him sooner rather than later though, the transition will be tough.

I hope we see the Kimi we should have seen at Ferrari. I hope he just lets it go and drives hard. If he beats his team mate, great. If not I just hope he makes the effort more apparent this time. If Grosjean has the best of him, then so be it. Im not expecting much from the team or either driver. They were just too far back to have made up that much time on the front runners.

I'm getting fantastic odds on Vettel to be the first to get fired at the moment! :p
