The 330 GT Registry lists 6265 and 6269, no 6267 in between.

    Not 8459 SF.
This is 6661 SF, which was the first of two 500 Superfasts sold new to Jack Durlacher.
This photo was taken after Durlacher had sold it, the license plates "JJJ 9 D" are the ones of the second owner George Tsakiroglou, a shipping tycoon in Chios, Greece but resident in England.

On the SA - there were a couple done with this body and 250 motors. I believe one was a 250 SWB with this body.

During the late 1970s one this body with a 250 was in southern California. Kidd's, I think.

John posted very interesting images. First shot was taken at the 1964 London motor show if I am not mistaken. In that case it's first RHD 500 Superfast, s/n 6345 SF. Car was fully destroyed in an accident (what year?) and no longer exist.

I hope Mr. Massini can confirm or clarify this info.

And what the strange "thing" under rear window??

This photo was not taken at the London Motor Show where 6345SF was shown and also not at the London Motor Show in 1965 where it was shown.

Boudewijn, thank you for clarification. At what motor show this shot was taken in that case? And what s/n is shown at the photo?

I have 6345 as the 64 London Show car. I agree it is not this car in the picture, because it was originally red/black. It was written off in 1967 by the second owner.

However I have 6679 as the 65 London Show car. It could well be this car in the picture. It was originally Nocciola/Beige VM3309.

Also it does look rather like Earls Court to me.

I think it might be an electric light to illuminate the interior?

Are you sure? I think it looks like Earls Court although I don't have any pictures to compare to hand. The pillars look like Earls Court anyway!

EDIT: Mark beat me to it...

6345 SF was destroyed on the 2nd February 1967 in a collision on the highway A2 near Peterborough, UK.

That's not very likely since the A2 doesn't go anywhere near Peterborough. It was on the A1 in case anyone cares (and I know Marcel likes to be accurate on these things!).

Jonathan, thank you. You are absolutely right, of course. It was a typo from my side or maybe fat fingers, who knows. It was on the A1 (not on the A2). My sincere apologies.

The 6345 SF wreck was broken up with some of the remains going to Jack Pierce/JAP Engineering, the original engine #6345 SF (internal #42/SA) was later installed in a 275 GTB and then later temporarily installed in 500 Superfast chassis #6661 SF.
William Tompkins, who was killed in that accident, was a farmer resident in Northamptonshire, he had been the second owner of 6345 SF, the first one being Dr. Richard S. Wilkins.

In the post with the pictures of the SF and SA, the SF is a series 2 based on the fender vents.

This is 6043 SF, the ex-Lord Hanson Superfast, taken at Castle Schwetzingen (Germany) on the 6th July 2002. It was shown at the Schwetzingen Concours by then owner Edgar Schermerhorn of The Netherlands, today it lives in Palm Beach, FL.
