perhaps you two are right, but lets leave it at that he's had Mclaren commitments (And lets face it's...he did!). I don't think anyone will know what Lewis saw or didn't see....
No idea; but I do know Chinese courts aren't exactly kind to anything. IIRC you can get life in prison for simply driving drunk, imagine if this went on to become an attempted murder case. Good luck with that one...

They probably don't have lawyers in China.

Nice jumping to conclusions, you weren't there so you don't know.

    Nice.

    And OJ was innocent.
    Well, in one court anyway..

I'll bet he'd have been popular in prison though.

Integrity? Lewis lied to the stewards before. I'm sure he can do it for his friend again.

Correct, it's not. Sutil received both. (18 month suspended sentence + probation.)

As to Hamilton being a coward, such a shame to have a falling out like that.

Of course that isn´t the way it went down. If it was, we would me talking about attempted manslaughter, possibly attempted murder in the first degree. Just take a minute and think about it.

Like I said; if it happened by accident Lux wouldn't have had 24 stitches. It takes significant force when being hit by a glass to require that amount of stitches.

If he just tripped and the glass hit him like that there wouldn't be a law suit to begin with.

Besides, I haven't read in a single report saying that he tripped. All I keep reading are quotes from Sutil: ''I only wanted to spill my drink on him, I never meant for this to happen.'' If he tripped I'm sure that would have been quoted.

I can't see in any other way other than tripping over that you go from spilling your glass to stabbing someone in the neck.

    That how it seems.
Lewis not appearing did him a favor by not having to tell the truth on the stand.
If Leweis was subpoenaed then he stands in contempt of court (?).

and accidents can lead to great amounts of force on the human body. Sometimes people even die by accident.

You simply don´t know what happened.

no one says Sutil tripped. Not even himself.

So he either tripped or commited attempted murder? I can only hope you are not in the legal business.

See that's what I'm saying. I can understand if it's an accident, but the only way I can see it being an accident is if he tripped. Can you explain to me any other way a glass ends up stabbing another person apart from tripping over? I can't...

Anyhow, it's all hearsay. Don't get your knickers in a twist about it

again, if we were talking, like you, about attempted manslaugher or murder, the sentence would be a lot more severe. Simple logic.

No. He will always have a record. (Not that that really matters in a high profile case / individual like this.) That record will matter if he is involved in future criminal and perhaps even civil cases. They can give probation that includes expunging of the record upon completion, and if they in fact did that it wasn't mentioned in any of the big media outlets.

Suspended sentence is a little more severe than just saying "no jail time". It's saying that the crime does warrant jail time but because of whatever circumstance (perhaps uncertainty in this case, but I wouldn't know) they are not going to actually impose it.

Yes I agree with that, but have you got any answers of how Lux required 24 stitches then?

Same could be said for Jos Verstappen, didn't he ran over his girlfriend recently or something like that? How come he's walking free already?

I'd imagine he'd still be open for a civil suit.

    PS;
Maybe this makes him a hot commodity..
Who wouldnt want "Slasher" Sutil on their team ?

    "Pssst...
    Dont pass that guy...
you dont know what he'll do."
