    Just read this quote:

He just gets on with it - no boasting, no politics, no excuses (usually) - and he's seriously quick. He may not be driving for a team that most of us here are rooting for, but man I love this guy and am thrilled to see him back on the F1 grid.

Kimi dislikes the Lotus steering. Lotus making a new rack for next race.

And on that note, Schumacher, Kimi, and Chuck Norris are the only people on earth who can slam a revolving door. And none of them do push ups, rather they push the earth away from them and it comes back at a time of their chosing.

Did anyone check with Chuck first and make sure it was ok for a Kimi comparison? I have never been a Kimi fan simply because it is all about him and not the team thus his WDC was a gift.

No. Didn't like him at McLaren, didn't like him at The Scuderia, and don't like him at Lastus.

    Kimi rocks!

He so doesn't give a **** about anything, that makes him one of the coolest drivers ever in my book.

I doubt we'll see much coming from him this season, but it sure is fantastic to have him back on the grid.

Can't wait to see one of his interviews. "mumblemumblerabarbarrabarbar"

I don't get it, why didn't Ferrari listen to McLaren when they said he was lazy (or something around those lines)? Then Ferrari learned the hard way.. Surely McLaren weren't bluffing when they said that?

    Huh?

Kimi won the WDC for the Scuderia. No other driver has won the title for Ferrari since.

    Then he accomplished nothing afterwards..

Ferrari realized the hard way that he lacked motivation.

McLaren weren't lying when they said that after they dropped him.

Imho the Scuderia has been grasping at straws since MS left and the only semi-proper decision they have made driver wise was hiring Alonshole (although I would not have hired that cheating bastard).

Sorry Kimi but you knew perfectly well you would be back in F1 but should have stayed retired, no love for Kimi so I will exit stage left.

Agree and thank god he did. If either mcl driver won it we'd all be screaming tainted wdc, stolen data n all that bs. No one has accused kimi of being a hard worker but don't say he isn't talented.

Kimi would have won the WDC in the McLaren if that thing hadn't fallen apart all the time. Easy for them to blame the driver.

And let's not forget that in the beginning of the 2008 season Kimi's Ferrari also DNFed quite a bit. No wonder the guy looses motivation. Lets also not overlook the fact that arguably the best F1 driver of the current time hasn't managed to squeeze a title out of the Ferrari. Maybe Kimi realized in 2008 that the team wasn't going anywhere and just gave up?

And lets not confuse motivation on the track with motivation to speak to sponsors, which is where Kimi lacks most.

In case anybody missed it: Kimi did 2 GP distances in testing yesterday. Not really the sign of a lazy bum.

    Huh?

He came 3rd in the WDC in 2008. He won 2 GPs, ended up on the podium 8 times.

He won a GP in 2009 and podiumed 4 times.

Last year the much heralded Alonso won exactly one GP.

    Facts are facts.

Who crashed into the wall in Spa dueling with Hamilton?

Who crashed into the back of a Force India in Monaco?

Oh wait that was Kimi... facts are facts.

I think his best days are behind him unforunately.

There's no point in getting excited over insignificant lap times in the 1st test session of the year.

He said the same thing and that's not what this thread is about.

If you don't like the guy and don't get why we do, that's quite alright. :)

That was my favorite race of the last decade. Absolutely an epic performance by both in the rain.
    One had to win.

Ever race a formula car in the rain ?

Out of the tunnel balls to the wall.
An unfortunate incident especially for Sutil.
That race could have changed his career.

    HE certainly didn't.
