360 GTS!!!!!!

I voted for 250 GTO, even though I sold GT5 and my PS3 long ago, the thought of buying it all again may seem reasonable if they put that car in.

 

LOL, very true, and one of the reasons I dumped GT5. I still think it's a great game and I really miss some aspects of it, but I got really tired of driving the same 10 cars.

It's extremely difficult to just pick one because I would love to see a lot of them in the game. But if we could only have one then I would want the FXX.

You guys could always sell the PS3, buy an Xbox with Forza 4 and enjoy the 33 pristine Ferraris in it... though then you'll have to deal with the loss of Porsche.

 

I love GT5 - yes the there are not as many cars, but its smooth and the graphics are better than Forza.

For Ferrari's I would like to see in the game:

This really needs to be a three-part poll: thereabouts of 1949-1973, 1974-1995, and 1995-present.

 

I picked the Daytona but would love to see a 360CS as well. I would gladly welcome any Ferrari though, just not another GTR.
I still play GT5 a little. I only really drive a few laps of the Nurburgring and then call it quits and then won't pick up the game again for days.

 

I think everyone needs to remember that obtaining licenses for in-game Ferrari's is one of the toughest things they do. Polyphony being a Japanese-based studio, they will naturally want to load up and all those hundreds of Mazda's and Nissan's in the game because for one, they are easy to model, and licenses are basically given to them. Ferrari was one of the main protagonists against car damage for a long time, because from what I've heard (could be wrong) they did not want people to be able to see wrecked Ferrari's, as it could potentially damage the brand. I still don't think you actually can roll Ferrari's in GT5, but it's been a long time since I played. I also believe Ferrari sets very strict standards on the car modeling on top of the perfectionism already required by Kazunori, i.e. the designers have to use a lot of time to create each car, including scanning it and presenting the product to Ferrari, as well as PAYING for themselves. We all know how obsessed Ferrari management is with PR and marketing (the Chris Harris scandal...). Very few small budget games feature any Ferrari's because it must be monstrously expensive. Of course, we have seen more and more of Ferrari's in games other than F-branded ones since the first PGR for Xbox. Frankly, I was amazed that GT5 was allowed to use the SP1 being such a special product from Ferrari. But it must have been an easy job, just a scan and patching it with F430/430 Scud physics.

It would be a dream for me if we could have the track specials such as the 599XX EVO, FXX and so on, because frankly the physics on the F-branded games is appalling. But again, I think it's down to priorities and money. I think the FF will come, the 599 GTO, F12, MAYBE 458 Spider (seems like an easy job, just do a scan and patch it with the coupé physics?). However Ferrari's from the 2000's which are now out of production unfortunately I have doubt in, because I don't think Polyphony could be bothered honestly, a real shame. I'm not to keen on any of the older (pre-90's) Ferrari's being in GT5, because from what I experience, GT5's streamlined physics-model doesn't really do the older guys justice (except from 330 P4 which is more like an LMP racer with less grip).

EA bought all the rights to Porsche, GT5 only features a few RUF-knockoffs from the previous installations as "standard" cars...

Picked the 288GTO but like everyone I'd really like to have more.

Adding the Fiorano Test Track a track also would be a nice bonus.
