F430 door won't open...need help guys.

Sounds like the cable has become disconnected at the inner handle. There's a tab that is connected to the handle that can break(obviously).

You will have to take the handle out with the door open and examine if this is the case. Once verified you can replace the broken part. It's not unheard of, just not too common.

 

Not to common on the 430, more so I think on the 360! It's probably DIY capable but you'll need a little patience.

They are the same part FerrariDublin. It's how the vehicle has been taken care of wear and tear wise.

 

Check the Ricambi website as you will likely order the part from Daniel and they have exploded views or the door internals.

I suspect it really is quite close to the 360 and there's a lot of good stuff in those two threads above.

In my case the problem was the cable from the external door pull handle to the lock mechanism. It loops down and then back up to the lock. Dirt, grime and water enters the cable and falls to the bottom of the loop and clogs the cable movement preventing the cable from returning properly and thereby the lock mechanism from functioning.

The other common problem is that the end of the cable is secured to the lever on the lock mechanism with a little plastic clip. That clip can come undone or can break and then the cable slips out of the lever.

You may or may not need parts. I think you're going to have to strip before you can properly diagnose your particular issue.
