I say it is either just sandbagging or just Massa complaining/making excuses again as it was Alonso who set the 3rd fastest time in pre-season testing this past week. Yet really who can say and the only truth will come from the first race. I do not pull for Ferrari as I once did and alot of that is because if the truth be told I am more of a driver fan when it comes to F1.
Massa seems to be self destructing. Isn't it suicide to criticize the car, particularly for Ferrari? The fact that things turned out ok for Alonso only makes it look worse.
It seem's that is the case and Ferrari should just buyout his contract and get Perez in the car asap=NOW. I wanna see a 'balls to the walls driver' willing to explore his and the cars limits aka "give me a full on power induced oversteer!!"
I haven't watched any of the testing. I assume the cars aren't being push like they are during a race, or maybe there are, but do they look as difficult to drive as they did last year? -F
You are excused but I will need pictures of the lambs who could be led too slaughter so I can 'freaky text, crap I do not have texting but...pic's...???
The problem with all these testing times is that no one knows what everyone else is doing and very little is regulated during the tests. The fuel loads vary greatly, there is no minimum weight limit required and there is no real scrutineering to be passed to ensure that the cars comply with every detail of the regulations. Maybe Massa is right and the car is not very good (again!). Maybe Ferrari ran the car ultra light for Alonso to look more competitive than they really are. Maybe Massa simply can't adapt to the new car (again!). Maybe Ferrari have designed the car purely for Alonso's driving style. Maybe Ferrari really were sandbagging. The only time we will truly know how good or bad the Ferrari is (or anyone else for that matter), is in first practice in Australia. Then there will be no way to hide the truth.
i DON´T THINK IT´S FAIR TO COMPARE mASSA´S TIMES WITH Alonso´s...first 2 days they were trying all sorts of settings and just running the car, when Alonso came, much of the job was already done...and i still hink Ferrari sent Alonso with an almost empty fuel tank to make a good time, in order to calm down the press.
