To all who replied with possible solutions and advice I would like to say thank you.. To the "mechanics" who respond with nothing but smart a** replies shame on you. These forums are for all and most of us enjoy working on our cars to whatever extent we feel comfortable. So while helpfuul replies are always welcomed derogatory ones are not. I found and corrected the problem. A special thank you too: FatBillyBob, Plugzit, Tech4Ferrari, Turbopanzor, Mike Alsop, Jack Russell Racing, Ricambi
Sounds like something other than a cat might be plugged. I'd recommend a high-fiber diet and plenty of fluids.
The problem was I loaned the car to my nephew and when he put fuel in it he checked the oil improperly so he add a ouart bringing it over fill be about half a quart. The engine dispelled the extra oiy into the exhaust system, where it burned off in the Cat...It has been fine since.. thank everyone again for all the help
Not quite. You need to clean your MAFS out and your breather system, pull your throttles off and vac out what's lurking around in the intake. Seen it many many times. Do it, or you'll end up buying MAFS.
