Sorry for the double message one here and one in 360/430 but i had problem before and seems some people look here that can help and dont look in the 360/430 page.

here are the basics, 2005 430 f1. Replaced the battery around 1 month ago. battery is good has 12.7 or around there when i charge it. nows when it gets really weird. with my trunk power switch off. i connect the battery then go to turn on the trunk power switch when i do this the only things that get power in the whole car is the trunk light the power seats work if i press the hazard light they will go on. and when i put the key in the ignition it just makes a very fast beeping sound in all the key position. nothing else at all has power to it. F1 pump no door locks no dash no stereo no ac or heating no wipers no turn signal no dome light no abilty to use the start button every thing has no power. Nothing. also no alarm system active or doing anything at all. push both of my keys no noise no activation nothing. Also i am from nyc and at my familys home in ...... yes boise ID. Where there is noooo dealer or indy dealer. I would just take it to the dealer and get it fixed np. but the nearest is 6 hours. Im in a real bind here any help would be greatly appreciated.

also i looked at a bunch of the fuses ones in the trunk both sets behind the seats the ones by the battery and all seamed to be intact.

i replaced the connectors that go on the battery terminal with higher quality ones. gold plated or something. but once this problem happend i swiched back to the ferrari oem ones. i dont know if this could affect it i just thought i would throw it in there incase it was relevant.

also i know its not the battery cause i went and bought a brand new one today and exactly the same thing happened.

also never had any issues with the car what so ever.

thanks for any help you can give me

I seem to remember there is a specific reconnection routine and reset on the car. Do you have your manual with you? Otherwise, I guess you are best off phoning the dealer you usually use and let a techie guide you through the battery restart..... At least it will either work, or he may be able to identify a cause and a solution. Good luck

I would start by checking the power at the main on off switch ..it almost sounds as if there is no output there. could be a bad ground.

    Suspect it's fuses somewhere.

Not sure about the 430 but on the 360 there are regular kind of fuses in about four different locations and then some extra heavy duty ones down near the battery. Suspect one or more of the heavy duty ones have gone. We're talking fuses in the range of 60~70 Amp range here not the usual dinky 5 / 10 / 30 fuses.

Also - what about defective battery - has it been tested under load? Bring to battery shop or mechanic with the correct test equipment whereby the voltage is measured with something like a 150 amp load. That's the only way to test a battery properly and quickly.

Turn the key to "position II" and wait at least 10 seconds.

"After removing the battery from the vehicle
or disconnecting it from the electrical
system by means of the master switch, when
    reconnecting and before proceeding with
starting the engine wait at least 10 seconds
with the ignition key in position II to allow
the electronic system that controls the
motor-driven valves to run the self-learning
    procedure."

Pull the battery back out. There is a big maxifuse behind it on the thickest red wire. Check it's intact...

Very first thing that you do when repairing your car when something breaks and it's not obvious is..

    1) Go to fridge and grab beer or glass of wine
    2) Get to at least 1/4 way down before telling yourself "It's usually something simple"
    3) If no power, start with fuses, they can get knocked loose/blow etc.
    4) as above there are a few big ones, use the manual to tell you where they are.
    5) check battery polarity "+" = positive/red
    6) Is alarm activated when battery is connected and switch in trunk turned on?
    7) Do lights go on when key is turned?

    If still doesn't work..
