I know some of the pictures on this link have been posted before, but the ones on the back of the truck are new too me (apologies if already posted). One on truck looks to be a different mule with 599 HGTE wheels and a different exhaust http://www.pistonspy.com/spyshots/ferrari-gt-codenamed-f152-spyshots-599-replacement
Wow. Ferrari really cant design a good looking car anymore. I could be wrong on what is under that camo but it doesn't look like it could be anything but ho hum. Back when R&T came out with the first renderings of the 550 is was stunned how OK the car looked. It has been largely a continuous slide from there. 456, 430, FF, 599, 612, GTO (how could they), California. All these car are mediocre to look at with the exception of the 458, which isnt drop dead gorgeous except when compared to its brethern. Ferrari needs a shakeup before every car it produces looks like any other car. Forget about hp and top speed and give us a car that moves the soul.
That's an earlier proto. Here a picture of the rear of that proto and without masking. Casually (..) found on the web
I'm glad the 599 Successor is paying hommage to P 4/5 Competizione... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
From official Ferrari press release regarding 2011 sales: Luca di Montezemolo: "We now have a complete range of models which will be joined in a few days time at the Geneva Show by a new 12-cylinder. A revolutionary new car that delivers extreme performance and unprecedented power output." Revolutionary?
Maybe in the sense that it will have 700+ hp yet maintain a high level of driveability - I suspect they'll introduce their patented pneumatic valve springs on this car. Also might have some active aero.
I DON´T like what I´m seeing. But it seems (I hope so) that it´s camouflage or an early prototype, because that rear bumper is not fitted properly.

We had the local launch of the FF this week and there was a power train engineer there and evidently he mentioned that the new 599 replacement will be faster than the Aventador so that gives one some indication as the step forward this car is going to be.
That should not be too difficult as the GTO is already much quicker than an avetador. Except perhaps in a straight line..... Compare the comparable!
GTO much quicker than Aventador ? Vairano track : GTO : 1:16,09 s Aventador : 1:13,86 s 0-200km/h by Quattroruote : GTO - 10,21s Aventador - 8,96s Top Gear track : GTO - 1:19,8 s Aventador - 1:16,5 s From all the data available, Aventador seems to be in another world compared to GTO, both in the straight line and around a track.
Yeah, the GTO is kind of last generation tech. It's the best of the last generation, but it's hard to make the comparison. For the same reason the 458 Italia is faster than the 599, and why the Gallardo was faster than the Murcielago lineup for the most part. The F620 should be exciting though.
We care what Lamborghini does because they are the competition and them having a 700 hp V12 helps convince Ferrari to keep building V12s. Just like hopefully McLaren building a twin turbo V8, along with Mercedes, BMW, etc will convince Ferrari not to go the TT V8 route and keep building NA engines.
