I wonder what the story is about the roof? Not a whole lot of pictures. Do those wheels look slightly gold or is it me?
You didn't notice the "glass" roof just like or similar to the one in the large metalflake blue Espada that carried Princess Grace around Monaco one year?
This car was not delivered with the plexiglass open roof. This was probably added in the late eighties together with the gold colored rims. You can see the car without this open roof in an eighties publication: Lamborghini Supreme Amongst Exotics p.70, 71 & 73. As far as I know Espada that carried Princess Grace around Monaco aka #7293 is the only Espada which was delivered with plexiglass open roof. There are some late S2 and S3 which were delivered with sunroof but Ive never seen the exact figures/numbers for these cars.
I wonder what the story is with this one. Seems like a shame ... http://www.eurospares.co.uk/breaking2.asp?page=123
Another member has an incredible theory about my car that makes it alot more special than it already is being production #4. I am taking photos and hoping to get his ok to post his thoughts. I do have to say, evidence supports his theory. I will continue this on the Urraco thread.
Obviously not, Gary didn't embed the link properly. This one : http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page/159225/1970-lamborghini-espada/
I hate computers and sucked at PONG as well but i like webers so screw it!m I showing my age? Gary Espada 8394
I was beginning to wonder the hell was wrong with me that I couldn't see the yellow wheels and glass top on the brown Espada. Jeez, I think I need a beer.
Mushrooms Alberto. That's what you'd need to envision my description work with that blue one. Gary, relax. I started working with computers well before they became "personal" and I think I've played pong once and maybe a couple of other computer games a few times. Not my cup of tea. I worked so very closely with the stuff for 30+ years and finally had enough. Now I have to use them extensively again in one of the hobbies I took up to escape being immersed in the cyber world for so long. How ironic. Yeah, that's why I like the earlier stuff like Webers too. I've heard rumors about another or two cars with one of those "glass" roofs but I think Kevin has the most credible version of reality on this subject. But you never know. I hadn't seen this one until now though. Maybe I'll ask the seller.
this is the correct grill from the factory for back seat near fenderwell of Espada in case anyone is looking for one Gary espada 8394
This is the result from the photo I've sent you ? Wow! I want one! Send me the details Gary. Philippe S2 7987 www.lamborghinimiura.com
Hello everyone. This is my first post here, so I guess a short introduction would be appropriate, before posting anything else. I have been a Lamborghini fan since I was 5 (that's 44 years ago), and since I was 10 the Espada been my favourite car (of all cars, not just Lambo's, that is). I'm not a lover of Ferrari cars, to put it mildly Therefore I find it to be very ironical that I should find this thread on a Ferrari Chat site I almost by accident stumbled on to. During the last couple of days, whenever I had some spare time, I have been going through all pages, reading many posts, looking at all the pictures. I liked it a lot, many times I have regretted not having found this place sooner. I also noticed some people I know (and appreciate) from other forums (hi Emilio!). That's enough for now, I reckon. I will do my best to contribute to this great forum (unless, of course, you guys tell me to get the hell out).
I would expect a couple of people here to know of this car: http://nl.autoscout24.be/Details.aspx?id=157809941 Could anyone supply me with some additional info? I would be much obliged.
