Love those old Rosso kits. Every bit as good as a Tamiya F1 kit and in the right scale, 1/24th!!

The story goes the Rosso company was run by several ex Fujimi engineers. The company was having financial problems around 1992. At that time the factory some how caught on fire and burned to the ground destroying all the Rosso molds. Those Fujimi engineers where the same ones responsible for the 1980's Fujimi Enthusiast series. Due to Japanese custom Fujimi would never rehire those engineers back to Fujimi. Motoi told me this story years ago. To bad they would not take them back because Fujimi has been second rate ever since!!

Amazing as always Humberto...i saw the 643 1718 in ebay a couple of times, unfortunatly i never built a model (although i have several tamiyas 1/12) so i never had the courage to buy one....but looking at yur models i do feel tempted....i was a pretty good modeler at doing houses from scratch but cars it´very diferent, with very diferent materials...i once bought an aerograph and everything but i never did tried....and the problem is, that if i started i will take a lot of models to become "decent"....

    Ps you´ve got PM HUmberto

Very nice. I have 2 of those Q Model kits. Not great but still pretty good kits. They were way over priced wich is normal for old Japanese resin. I wish Hiro would do a full detail Dino 246 or maybe one of the V8 cars. I guess they are to busy making 1/20th F1 models now.

Very nice work. I have the F92 and F93 both in resin, both very pretty cars even if they did not do very well.

Wow, keep the great models coming. I have the Protar and Studio 27 1/24th T2 kits and the Protar is closer to 1/22 scale. Maybe they were trying to get both the 1/24th and 1/20th markets in 1 model:)
