Hey guys. Have a quick question.

Was looking at my sticker and didn't see Magneride as a listed option. I have 23k in "other options". Short of asking the dealer, any other options?

Find a road that is not smooth and has bumps

Change the mannetto onto comfort for 2 miles, is the ride soft?

Turn it onto sport, is it a noticeably firmer ride?

If you can't tell the difference, you don't have magneride

If anyone can find the magneride control unit location on ricambi please post a link, I can't find it

Finding if the suspension control unit is fitted is another way

The sticker only lists 14 options and then everything else is "other options." With 23K in other options I would assume you have it all :)

Under "Options", if it is fitted, you will find it listed as "Magneride Dual Mode" $5114.00.

Jason- Ask your dealer to print a build sheet for you using Ferrari's MODIS system. That will list the VIN, Assembly Number, Body Number, paint, carpet, and leather color codes, and all options. Here is an example for my car, which did not have very many options. MODIS can also print out just an options list for your car, but the build sheet is much more complete and nice to have as history.

That's why I was worried. I have always seen it listed individually and out front on the stickers.

Doesn't really matter. Still love the car. Just expected it to be "smooth" in comfort. I forgot, it is a Ferrari after all... I do notice a much more firm ride in sport vs comfort.

Also, if mageride is not fitted, I understand that all the conditions affected (ride, shift points, etc) are sort of set in the middle. You may not experience the extremes, but you enjoy both together ... which is probably the best of both worlds.

I'm my experience, gearbox shifting and throttle mapping is the same between a car with magneride and without

It is only the ride that is different between a car with magneride and without

The gearbox shifting is controlled by the computer in the trunk/boot, and the engine mapping is controlled by the dual engine control units fitted in the wheel wells, one on each side behind the carpet wheel arch liners
