I love it. And I think it's gonna take on a whole new look in the flesh. I've always felt that Ferrari's press photos leave a lot to be desired...

Looks gorgeous! The Aero Bridge is cool, as is the rendition of the bridge between the seats inside the car. Rear view is just awesome. Very 8C, as has been noted.
The grill is HUGE! The FF was large but this is even bigger i think. Something they really want to highlite... It is part of Ferrari's history so why not? Funny, that the 458 ignores it completely... I am sure there was discussions about that when deciding to drop it in favour of the aero devices. There are enough family design cues elsewhere.

    Congrats Ferrari... a home run!

It is a return back to original Ferrari design. I like it. A true modern classic.

Looks great. Can't wait to see it in person. I like that they shortened, lowered and generally compacted the car. In the days when every new model gets bigger, I like the smaller route being taken here.
Any thoughts on the closed air intakes on the bottom front on each side? Do you think they'll open up or bend with higher speeds, similar to the 458's moveable vanes?

I don't see much similarity. Totally different designs from the front to side to rear.
    Whole new look.

From the Motorward link, "Active Brake Cooling, a system that opens guide vanes to the brake cooling ducts only at high operating temperatures, again reducing drag."

Could this be it? or would these be located under the car?

Ah thanks. Is it automatic when a certain temp is reached or does it stay open in Race mode for instance?

I like it in black. But I am biased. I think the thing will be around 400K. I wonder if Ferrari will ever meet any price resistance on thier cars.

    Home run.
Good to see that they've moved away from some of the cartoonish designs of the recent past but retained the excitement.

Look at the first page of this thread, there are similarities between the 8C and the F12 but only very subtle. I was pretty shocked how different they were

The center light is a fog light and is designed as the F1 rain lights are. Again, look on the first page of this thread and you will find both of these items
