Didn't Bill Mitchell admit that the original Sting Ray was cribbed from Ferrari?
    Who's copying whom?

    Touche'!

Everything has already been done and everything relates to everything in some way.

BTW: I see nothing in common with Vette's here at all. It's amazing what people see in objects.

If we didn't invest our emotions into shapes styling would be pointless. Or what's a Rorschach test for?

What this will have over any muscle car.

Actual stability. The torque with stability at 180mph would be amazing.

No, I understand that. I mean that psychologically, we all see "what we want to see" when shown shapes.

Someone looks at a picture and sees a cow. Another person sees a space alien. A third sees a girl in a pasture.

It's the same with cars. We see what we want to see.

I agree with that. I mean that styling wise, it's got muscle car all over it. And, that's a good thing. I'm not knocking it. I like it.

looks like a cross between the California and the FF

    looks awesome!

wonder how many complaints there will be to the large "back-end" this car has... but i personally love it.

I'll reserve full judgement until I see it in the metal, which shouldn't be too long.

    Who at Pininfarina penned her?

It's smaller than a 599 and looks smaller too. I fail to see the corvette lines...

This picture of the 1:43 model really shows the way the air is channeled along the hood and down the the sides of the front wings along the concave swages in the body. The section at the top of the front wing where the Scuderia shield sits helps retain the form of a conventional front wing when viewed side on.

Wow that is really interesting. You can't see that in the photos. Good find!

I think the way they have managed to link the negative side indentation "swoop" with the positive 3/4 fenders is a very clever and difficult design detail. It's what will make this car very distinctive in the flesh.

Yes. The airflow management around the body is really interesting. I don't think anyone has looked at it this way before. Definitely an F1 influence here.

Or "girls car" because it doesn't have a 6 speed manual.'

Or its too heavy and old fashioned because it doesn't have a CF tub like the McLaren or Lambo.

This to me looks beautiful! Try doing this in a piece of plastic and say it's as sexy!

As already with the FF the front reminds me of the shark "Bruce" in "Finding Nemo"...

Very interesting look at the first glance... I think I'll like it as I also do with the FF and the 458. Not often in the past that I liked as much models in one period.

I know. I want to make out with that engine. What's up with the supercharge thing the video mentioned?

The side profile is beautiful except for the fact that it looks like a car ran into it. Why the huge indentation? Does a vent to let heat out of the engine bay need to occupy that much space? Other than that I think it is handsome.

I like the looks of the car . I did not care for the 599 when it came out but THis is aggressive but all blends together nicely .. Now I wonder what a nicely equipped one will sell for but WOW
