Ok. I'm just being plain silly.

    Scuderia bumper arrived.

    Scud carbon ceramic brakes arrived.

Extinguisher rejected by customs. Re attempting delivery via alternative courier.

    Carbon drip panels on route.

    Stef's shift light on route.

I just bought Scud aluminum floor plates.

I'll be ripping out all remaining panels covered in tan leather to be rewrapped in alcantara.

    I need suggestions.

Seats are technical fabric, black with white stitches.

Should I go all conservative black alcantara with white stitches? Or rosso alcantara with white stitches?

    Decisions decisions...

Don't ask me why I didn't get a scud to begin with. We've been there already.

I think I know of most of the things you mention but what do you mean by "Carbon drip panels" are that the side panels of the engine lid?

Personally I would go for black alcantara with white stitches...

By far, the best thread ever started on any Ferrari forum. The car is beginning to look sensational and the anticipation is just building up. Well done! (speaking as someone who took his stock 360 and has done practically the same thing to it).

    Be careful.

If you are receiving inbound to the USA a charged extinguisher without all the legitimate DG paperwork, it is a serious violation of the law. Neither the shipper nor the receiver can claim ignorance -- especially since you've now posted this on the internet.

A carrier that lets this "slide" through, is at serious risk of fine by the FAA. A shipper or receiver can face felony charges, depending on the circumstances of the shipment and discovery.

True. But it was emptied and tap unscrewed. Still it didn't get through.

Yes. My bad. I should describe them as engine bay panels.

Sir, you're too kind. I hope it'd turn out as good as I anticipate it to be. I've seen the black alcantara. I was told the peforated alcantara would be arriving in a month. Not sure what that looks like.

So no votes for red alcantara? Too wild?

Trouble is I can't get it shipped. Worst case scenario I'll just take thd floor mount from the sabelt extinguisher which I paid for and purchase the extinguisher from a local supplier and get it filled with the compound of my choice. That might work as well. Once the metal floor pans are installed, I'll have a better idea on how to go about with the extinguisher.

Sorry to hear about the extinguisher. After all your good work, research, emptying, removal of taps........... bummer!

Seats? I suggest the black. Easier on the eye, less distraction, less likely to notice the first spot that appears etc.

Get busy installing some of this stuff though will you? :D

I have a F430 carbon diffuser and it is very very light compared to the stock one and strong. It was quite pricey but I might be able to get you a good deal if you decide on one. It come from the factory that supplies OEM carbon parts to Ferrari.

Thanks buddy. I've upgraded to a complete scud rear so the 430 diffusers no longer fit.

Pretty good advice there. I'll get started this week for sure. Have taken a week off from work. Should be enough.

Yeah. Real bummer. I really wanted the extinguisher. But if alternative courier options dont work, I'll just take the stand and straps and procure an extinguisher from a local extinguisher supplier. Hope they make lightweight ones.

Ok. Black alcantara seems to be the safe option.

They do not look to be original dials but then it is of course just a photoshop image that has been edited. Redline starts at 8000, should be 8500. Don't think carbon is an option but then of course if you ask Ferrari will probably produce it for the right money! Should be a horizontal black line at the centre of each dial as well.

    Well done project!
Curious on the Scud wheels did you use any spacers?
How much did you lower the car?

Talk about price gouging! I would get a yellow or white one but I think the lighting of the instrument panel would have to change to make it light up appropriately at night.

Took ya advice. Car has been delivered to the workshop to have the parts fitted and interior panels ripped out to be rewrapped in alcantara. Audio guys are also working on the car once the door panels are ripped off. The next 1-2 weeks is going to be so darn gloomy for me not having a Ferrari in my car porch. Oh well...I'll have to settle for the lesser makes.

My sentiments exactly. How hard would it be to make one if one really had the motivation to do so? Could always get a gen dial and do a high res scan and have a decent sticker lay over done up in minutes!

Now who wants to send me their gen dial? Free sticker dials in return for the favor?
