Houston Coffee & Cars March 3rd

I'll be there. This is my first post, so let me introduce myself. My name is Brian and I am a future Ferrari owner. I am looking at the 360 and F430 spiders and will probably buy in the next year or two.

 

Is it still being held at the same location?

Up in the air about going...haven't been in a few months. Last time I was there I was "not allowed" to park by the other Ferrari's and Italians since there were cones set up.

 

Thanks I could not remember the exact location as it has been about 5 months. I'm still not sure if I will go or not unless you want a co-pilot Alan? Call me tonight if you are going, you should have my number.

The weather is supposed too be really nice, in the 70's. If you and I both make it westyguy I hope there will be a chance for a ride in the Mondi as they are one of my favorite Fcars.

 

I'd be delighted to oblige! It's no show car...just a driver F car.

You are correct, I was just being cautious as I have been there once before and did not know if a 'coned off space' would be reserved for the original occupant. I will not be making it anyway as I have setup an appointment 'so too speak' with a local gun shop in hopes of trading my .40cal for a 1911 .45ACP.

Hell your in Huntsville so we could meetup at the New Zion Barbeque shack one day before a drive thru the countryside !!!!!!!!

Sorry you're not gonna make it, but the drive sounds like a plan! There's actually a new BBQ place that puts the church BBQ to shame. The church has slipped A LOT in the last few years as most of the old women who ran it died. This new place is really similar to the old New Zion we remember. PM me and we'll try to get together for an afternoon or weekend drive. I haven't had the pleasure of cruising with another F car since i got this one (my first). Sounds like a good time to drop the top!

The GTO was my fave car of the show. What a car!

Wow a 288 GTO, an Aperta, and 2 16ms! Is this normal? Dallas has had multiple 16ms at a show before but I've never seen a 288 GTO there. I also don't see rows and rows and rows of stock mustangs corvettes camaros etc. in the pictures. Does Houston have s problem with that too? I might have to make the drive there each month instead.

 

This show is routinely breaking 1000 cars, and some dealers are supporting it as well.

It's worth getting out of bed for, unless you have good company there.....

Saturday is her one day to "sleep late".....

I actually planned to take Amanda's posse to the Rodeo, by the time they pushed me off of the bus (ex came up with VIP SkyBox tickets) the only recovery was the Heights Crawfish Festival, which had a Car Show attached to it as well!!

"Two blocks from home" won the day!!

I was out running wedding errands all day in the yellow Ferrari.
Ended up parked next to the antique Yellow Cab...LOL!
