Dyno Day is just around the corner, so don't forget to SIGN UP!!

If you want to dyno your Ferrari (or other "exotic" car) that day, you must be a member of NW Region FCA.

We're getting a special group rate of just $75 per car (the club is kicking in some money to lower the cost) and you must RSVP to [email protected]

The shop has an "all wheel drive" dyno, so AWD Lamborghinis can test too!

All of the details are listed in the NWRFCA newsletter. If you're not an FCA member, sign up!
    https://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/index.cfm/Id/119/SummaryJoin

-THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO COME WATCH & "HEAR" THE DYNO TESTING!-

Saturday March 10th, start time is 10AM- and it goes until all the cars are all tested.

Taking place at the "Carburetor Connection" shop in Kirkland/Totem Lake: www.carbconn.com

Bring your ear plugs, because IT MIGHT GET LOUD!!

    Thanks for signing up Don.

We've had several 430 Scuderias on the dyno before, but never a 16M. It will be interesting to see if the numbers are different.

    Who else is signing up??

A Ferrari 512BBi (Berlinetta Boxer) is also coming.

Who else wants to sign up??

$75 is a great deal for a dyno test.

    Don't forget.

DYNO DAY is tomorrow (Saturday) morning, rain or shine. There's still room for testing more cars, if any FClub member would like to run their Ferrari or other "exotic."

Bargain price of just $75 for a dyno test and you can simply pay the shop when you arrive.

We will have some very interesting cars on the rolls tomorrow. One of them is supercharged and maybe there will be a turbo or two?? ;)

You never know what might show up!

Why does it have to rain so damn much. I would be there for sure if the weather wasn't looking soooo crappy. May stop by just to see the fun if I have time.

I thought about running my Turbo Shark but I will be working tomorrow.
I've already dyno'd the TR a bunch. Don't need to go there.

I'd love to dyno my Touareg again if there is room. I haven't done it again since I straight piped it. (Its a V10 TDI, twin turbo 5.0L V10 diesel) 315 hp 566 tq last time it went with the stock exhaust. I have done intakes and intake manifolds since then, too.

I wish I wasn't busy too, this is always a fun event!

I still remember Steve's F40 shooting flames and the big anchor chain they used to hold it back!!

I also remember Scott's sand rail that was overhanging the edges of the dyno the tires were so wide. I thought for sure that thing was going to rip the hold-backs out of the floor!

If you're a Ferrari Club member, you are welcome to put it on the dyno, after the Ferraris & other Italian cars are done testing.

Thank you to everyone who participated today!!

It was a great turnout of cars and spectators, despite the lousy weather.

Six club member's cars were on the rollers, plus at least four other non-member cars that ran after we went to our lunch.

I missed out. Looks like some good fun despite the weather. Anyone going to post results?

Thanks for sharing. From what I just looked up the California is rated a 454 flywheel HP so that peak number must have been within expectation. The hp/tq "curve" if you can call it that in this case is really interesting though.

    Is your car stock?

I thought they told me it is an 18% adjustment to calculate the flywheel, could be wrong. Totally non-stock, tons of carbon fiber and black painted rims. Ok, yeah stock :) \

A lot of fun to see everyone on Saturday.

Thanks so much, Gary, for putting together another great event! It's funny that we were worried by the bad weather and only THREE in attendance at 9:45am... by 10:30am I counted over FIFTY in attendance!

I ran my 16M and my Supercharged Range Rover Sport. Both claim 510hp.

The RR tested 446.48hp (AWD) and the 16M tested 474.57hp.

    Mike's new car is very cool! 1967 Saab- 3-cylinder, 841cc, 2-stroke engine.

He's actually going to dyno it soon and have Alex tune it.
