Anyone Performed a Testarossa ITB conversion?

    I'm considering pulling the trigger on a 4.9ltr Testarossa engine for my birthday and want to run ITBs for the sound & throttle response along with other modifications.

    I've been scouring the internet looking for anyone who has done these conversions or if there is a huge reason why its a bad idea.

    My background is with a 3.8ltr twin turbo flat 6 in my 935 K3 tribute which I converted to ITBs running M600 Motec, and would like to do something similar (although naturally aspirated) with the flat 12.

    Any input or direction to a source for this is greatly appreciated. I am looking to do the work myself and tinker with no set time restraints in mind. Thanks in advance!

    I've often dreamt of itb on a tr or 365 boxer. I say go for it.

    Mark E who used to post on this chat is doing a 308 v12 conversion with Testarossa heads and ITBs. You can find his thread now on ferrari life forum. I can't post a link here so use google.

    Nah - I'll keep checking back here for info. Each forum has its own personalities - so between them all I'll find what I need.

    I'll be sure to post up when start my ITB project.

    i must tell you that you will need to really understand the weak points of the TR's driveline before getting too crazy...failure can cost HUGE coin!!
