Has anyone seen a 458 wrapped in a Rossa Fuoco or Fiorano color? Can they custom match those metallic red colors? Thinking of wrapping the body of my Nero Daytona creating a bi-color.

+100000000000. I'd leave it EXACTLY how it is, but that's me. I doubt a wrap will give off the same look as the actual paint job would. I vote for leaving it alone. However, it IS YOUR car....

I'm leaving her as she is. Perhaps my next F car will be metallic red.

I don't know if you could make a pearl effect in vinyl.

To get a pearl or candy paint you have to do it in three stages...

Take candy apple red. You paint the car gold then use a translucent red over the top of it so the sheen of the gold shows through to make the red pop.

Same thing with the pearls most common is pearl white you paint the car white then paint over that with the pearl coat then clear it.

Basically what makes it pearl/candy is the base coat showing through the top coat.

The third stage is just clear coat.

Hmmm its doable for sure ! because I've seen a metallic Blu Bmw 1m over here that has been foiled. Didn't like the color or the quality of work though

Take a look at this 458 , its in Dubai foiled in some weird color

    That looks gorgeous.

To the OP, I don't know for sure, but as I said in my previous post, I HIGHLY doubt that a wrap company could reproduce the look of factory paint (especially that color) to a 100% accuracy level. Very happy to hear you're keeping her the way she is.

I'll be on the lookout for her when I'm in your neck of the woods next week. ;)

    Enjoy it!

Out driving her today and saw a red metallic 458 had been pulled over and that cured me of wanting red. Red is gorgeous and it does get noticed. Sadly, getting noticed got him pulled over. Think I'll stay stealth!

well there's an understatement ... like it .. u shud bloody love it :D It looks magnificant!

To the op .. I'm sure it can be done but the quality and how long it lasts might be a bit dubious. I had my 430 wrapped in matte red for over 2 years. Initially it looked great but over time it looked more matte salmon pink than red. But as has been said before, if you don't like it you can always have it taken off.
