You guys are pretty skilled at coming up with photos! I think every car looked great in brown except the 458. Just my thoughts.

It did not work for the Zet3 hatchback, not sure why Ferrari thought the look works for the FF.

LOL. That 458 looked a little weird with the brown. But come on, the FF isn't all that bad counselor.

You have a point, but it sure doesn't look like something out of Maranello.

LOL - in my above post, I got just so far with my thought, and then the phone rang, and then Cinder stepped on my track pad and "posted" my incomplete thought :):) I didn't get back to it to fix it :)

As for appreciation of a particular paint color on a given body shape, I can't find any "authorized or official" position on the subject. And though I do have an opinion on the matter - thinking that certain colors on a certain shape, look better or worse than others, I must always go back to what I believe to be true - Beauty - or the opposite, is in the eye of the beholder. What I perceive as correct, is true ...... for me. You may (and probably do) see it differently ....... and that is true for you. No one is wrong and both of us are right.

Here kitty kitty - now, you can step on the track pad and post this for me :):)

    Cheers, Hank

Hey Hank, you've got to layoff the pus** cat! LoL

btw, I need one of your Spider tops. Will it protect against summer quick storms, I'm noticing an almost daily occurrence in VA?

I have one of his tops, they are great for quick runs into the store to keep prying eyes at bay, keeping the sun off and the rain out while you're away, plus it comes with nice tenax snaps, but he forgot to autograph mine.

Hi Mike, both the Spider Top and Berlinetta Shade, were derived from the need to find a quick and easy way to protect the interior from the sun.

As for protection "against summer quick storms", my plan was to use the same pattern but with 100% waterproof material (with a soft underside), coupled with an inexpensive camera monopod to serve as a center support so that water could run off instead of pooling. The SPIDER/DUCK TOP would be a special order.

Interested ? PM me with thoughts.

    Cheers, Hank

Hi Ted, honestly - A bit of drizzle - no problem. But if the rains come, you'd better run out and put Valenzo's top up. Then again, you could special order a SPIDER/DUCK TOP !! :):) Yikes !! We were talking about Marrone :):):)

    Cheers, Hank

    Hi Hank,
I think for my Jeep, I have a half top that protects from sun and rain nicely, material is thicker and water repellent.
Your spider top will keep water out, but I'm thinking the 2 hour rain will eventually get inside.

If you can make one in a similar material maybe, duck top may work nicely.
Do you have pics of the prototype you can share?

Yes i was thinking just the light drizzle rain and just long enough to get the top up. I used your top on my way back from NY the first time, it did exactly what it was intended for and the only thing i keep in my trunk, next to the micro fleece.

    Ted,

I also keep some tools and a fire extinguisher in the trunk, never know with a 20+ yr car! I'm just alittle paranoid I guess but what's worst is feeling helpless as your car burns down!

hmmm thats mounted to the passenger seat track? Does it make any noises or is it in the way at all? Ive thought about a Halon one but i didn't know where to put it that it wouldn't roll around. Do you have more shots and where to purchase?
