    Last Sat, Silver Porsche CGT on Main St in Huntington Bch. Also saw a Lambo Muci there, can't remember what color, something dark or black like. Some other goofballs in old muscle, that seem to like exhausts that are as loud & obnoxious as possible. Look at me, look at me!

    Aha! Just noticed the discussion in vintage (for reference: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=359088)

    Yeah, I did mean to imply that perhaps it's possible it wasn't the real deal. The offset shifter and rubber boot threw me off, as well as dash being different from other Californias...but I'm no expert. The front end and the hood intake look a bit different too. I did consider though that there was a lot of variation between cars in the early days. Learned something new today!

    Very cool that you got to fly the car! And yes, sad, as Armen said, she's not staying here :(

    Looks lovely in that picture of her outside before being loaded.

    There were lots of variations from the on set when these were built but you maybe right, the rubber booth is especially odd. The hood, the dash... Makes you wonder, still beautiful, still sad to see it go away from here :(

    Very nice, I have yet to see one in the US!

    Two have been sold (at least) at Symbolic Motors in La Jolla, but I've seen them around. I'm sure LA has more than San Diego.
