    Good morning,

Finally i did change my great 355, for a 360 modena F1.... the change is huge!!!!.

Interior quality, easy to drive... etc...

Now 6 months after buying it i'm thinking of mods.... jeje

Mi Car is a 2001 with the "old" F1 ECU, i've seen a lot of posts about changing ECU of newer models, and even of the CS to improve performance, lenght of the clutch, better 1 2 change gear on traffic, etc....

But does the F1 gear box system is the same mechanicaly on a 360 modena than in a CS,will the durability/fiability be afected by using this more performant ECU?

Can you tell me the ones that have this change done if they have suffered problems and how much time do the mod been in place?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Congrats! My understaing is that the F1 systems on the CS and the standard 360 are the same except for the TCU. Hi highly recommend the 360CS TCU it makes a huge difference !

You absolutely want a CS TCU in your 360, especially if you have the older TCU. HUGE difference :).

Just curious, what is EXACTLY the difference between the old 99-01 TCU, the new 02-05 TCU and the CS TCU.

I have an 02, but is it worth it go into a CS TCU

To my knowledge the 99-01 TCU are really bad the 99 being the worst. Excessive clutch wear and lots of issues related to going into neutral etc. No PIS adjustments.
2002+ Are for the most part very reliable with better clutch wear and hardly any other issues. Plus the software can be updated including PIS.
CS TCU is the way to go clean clutch engagements longer clutch life and much faster shifts than any other 360 TCU.
