yep I know they are a pain, I'm currently helping a mate out, all the hydraulics work exactly as they should, we bled them changed the fluid, followed all what has been written about them, the elastics have also been changed, problem we have is as follows........................................... .....................

Roof goes down exactly as it should and tucks itself away, windows go back up, and seats return to their respective postions,so all this is good, then when on the close procedure,as the bottom hooks are coming up from their parked postions they have to both engage into the pins on the rising primary rams, they are both missing this pickup! unless you manually help the things into postion, there is nothing bent on the framework, both rams work in unison with each other.

Before anyone says about the secondary rams, all they do is shut the roof the last 10 inches or so too the windscreen latch.

Is there anyone out there who can advise on how to set these primary postions up,is there a diagram in a service manual ?

You can adjust both primary ram mechanisms by unscrewing three 13mm headed bolts this allows the whole ram plate to be moved on either side, but in what position are they relative too.

We are so close to getting this roof set correctly ,but far enough away that it just dont close in correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have done one my self a number of years back successfully, but for the life of me I can't remember how right now:( I have tried to do it again to another but could not make the pins locate.
But, there is a guy who posts on the UK Ferrari forum (club scud) He posted recently and knows the spider roof mechanism, he has posted frame detail pictures, but does not post much.
If you do find out how to deal with this problem once and for all, please post back.
