    Door is fixed turne out the latch was broken. Interesting that the
    Part is actually a part manufactured by fiat plastic cheep looking part.

    I have the same problem, and I need a replacement mechanism part number
    68993100
    But it is not available anywhere I tried.
    Do you have any idea where I can get one?
