Stew just informed me that we came in 45th out of 171 cars. (Team V) http://www.mylaps.com/results/showrun.jsp?id=2198505
Congrats on coming in at 45th. The names on the list is just fun to go through. Kind of wish they would post pictures of the cars.
Here's a few - I think the official ones will be out in a couple of days... http://www.lemonphotos.com/ There's also a forum at www.24hoursoflemons.com that will have even more - and more info than you can handle on a weekday.... Car and Driver and The Truth About Cars are also lemony resources for pics and stories...

Registration for the 2012 FOG Rally will open early next week. There will be a discounted price for those who register early. This year is going to be even more remarkable than last year's event, and we hope to see an increase in the number of drivers participating. To whet your appetite, have a look at these fantastic videos that capture the spirit and action from 2011: http://www.andrewsnider.net/video/fog_rally_2011_v3_360p_h264_1500kbps.mov https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slw0JWJS54M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfZfTwgYJ2s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBQx0yiqcGg&feature=related http://vimeo.com/29700673

I may be biased toward certain car brands but I hope a certain someone brings his FERRARI 250 GT California Spyder and not his Kaiser car.
Chance of rain is 100%. I have never seen the top go up on that car and I don't expect to see it up tomorrow.
Not me. I'd go with Bob on the Ida May, but I don't want to paddle. SUV with all season snow tires for me. If anyone wants a ride from Marin at about 7:30am, PM me. I can take 3 (four if you are skinny and get along well with others ).
...lurking i there somewhere. However it's only 1900 hrs and the children haven't been put to bed yet, as evidenced by MY post, so we shall just let that sleeping FOG, I mean DOG lay.
Vraiment, if you hadn't left early you would have won Griot's Garage products in the drawing with an MSRP of $240 since yours was the first name called. Instead it went to the 250 GT California Spyder owner because he's naturally lucky. Great to hear from Patrick about engine rebuilding , the folks from Hagerty Insurance and Brian from Perfect Reflections.
We had to leave early, too, but the Griot's products couldn't go to use on a better car. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to Patrick, Eric and all the sponsors for a great morning (despite the driving rain). Too bad none of my cars is much a candidate for Haggerty Insurance. It was great of them to sponsor the event. I'd post pics but have to honor my promise to Patrick not to. (Although I think the only prohibition was not to post pics of the customers' cars. Anyone remember?) Maybe FOG site should have a members only area where I/we (Alfie was taking pics, too) could post them without exposing them to the public or allowing downloads?
That's good because yours was the 2nd name called in the raffle. Now where is my reward of Chicken McNuggets for guessing your location correctly?
Full marks to who(m) ever arranged the Otis Tour. Was that you Vraiment? And graciously, thank you Patrick for opening your shop for us to have free reign. Erics 'man cave' was an inspiring piece of heaven. Thank you as well. Patrick, unsolicited, related a story where 3 separate incidents involving 3 separate cars were repaired at his shop, handled by Hagerty...He said Hagerty were a #1 Class act, saying, and I quote "Do what ever you need to do to make it right with the customer". Wow, when is the last time you heard that from an insurance company...Hopefully never but if you do...Hagerty Insurances Services recently got my business ! I kinda felt like a kid who was released into Toys R Us and I could move about the cabin freely. VERY NIFFTTEEE! Blew my skirt up...clean over my head. Thanks again.
I think this doesn't violate the agreement. Not a pic of a customer's car or engine, but a model on a shelf at Eric's. Pretty cool stuff. JD, surely you jest about my name being called! Anyway, nuggets are on me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
