I was inspired recently by the feel and quality of a old Nardi steering wheel and got to thinking that a wheel can not only be functional as in grip, size, feel etc but can also be a thing of beauty.

I will follow up with similar threads like "show me your skirts" or even "show me your gated knob".

Not my wheel but one of my favorites. Show me yours.

Some great wheels guys. Lets see some more. Ulf is that a Thunderbird wheel? Cool I'm digging it. Here is another that makes me want to head for the track.

C'mon there must be some more wheels out there? Here's another that I would like to get my hands on. I have seen this Lola being built from when it was just a tub. Not a Ferrari but still nice.

yes, my first US car, a Thunderbird from 1961, i really love the design, it is a "survivor" in a very good shape, bought it a couple of months ago and put some money in it to make it all work, the dash and sterringwheel is spectacular

The only thing missing is nice weather

Nice pic Grant, I like the wheel and the way you took that shot. Well done! Here is another wheel from my favorite period of F1.

    Some nice wheels and interiors.

This entire car was completely different. The wheel was the only part of the interior I liked, although the quality of the over-all car construction was outstanding.

Definitely, the US one is hideous though, damn regulations. The Spyker definitely has one of the best interiors of all time in my opinion.

The other steering wheels that Spyker used are Lotus and now Gallardo. The original propeller design can still be had (with some effort), but is best combined with four point seat belts.

About a third of the 37 existing propeller steering wheels are in the US.

Reminds me a bit like the Maserati 300S interior- modest, simple and the only difference was a bit of leather ;)

Sorry don't have any pictures, but I am sure a link will do :)

There are only 37 propeller wheels?

I was looking at the silver car that was at the NY auto show and it's amazing how great the interior looks and then it's got that hideous wheel and just ruins it.
