I have been looking at wheels for my 355 GTS and wanted to get some feedback on one of my choices. It's a "COR F1 Leggera" Thinking of going 19" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I prefer wheels with some lip left over at the edge. It gives the car a more muscular look to the overall appearance. Having the spokes flush with the rim lip makes for a skinnier look... like wearing taper cut jeans. The spoke design is nice though, nice concave arch too.
I like those more. Similar to these ADV1 in that the spoke terminates at the edge of the rim, but it's very well done. The 355 has a little extra room to work with considering the factory wheels are sunk into the body a little bit... I bet it plays well with the Concave offerings, but I've yet to see someone try 'em. HI all, They add a distinction to an already impressive look!! I luv em!!! Thanx all, for your time. Air-eek
For my money they appear a bit too fussy, but I generally go for stock looking wheels or the challenge style.
If I can get my Photoshop working, I'll try to put them on a 355. Okay, not that great, I'm rusty on Photoshop, but here's a quick look at the first wheels on the 355 GTS: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think you posted previously that you looked at the Advan T5 wheel, so you might try comparing the price from Vivid on the Advans to the COR price if you think the styles are similar enough. The Advan wheels are frankly a great value compared to what else is on the market. Always fun to change up the look of the car with wheels. Easily reversible if you don't like it! HI all, I think they look better dirtier or not in a more whiter color. Thanx all, for your time! Ear-ick
Everyone has different taste in wheels. I have been looking at these. Mesh style with a lip. They are Jline SDM L2's. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah I really like the concave look of the ADV1... COR web site says they build them custom to order, so I assume any offset. Thanks, that looks good although I don't know if it's quit what I want now that I've seen the ADV1 above.
I've got a supercharged Zo6 and have been looking at the ADV1s to put on. Here's a short vid... although it's on a 'Vette, it still shows the profile from all angles. These are a little large (rubber band tires though). I think it's a pretty wicked looking wheel. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygKzXMFnyQc[/ame] Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice video... Those wheels are sick, heck the vette is sick. Side note for everyone over the age of 30... SICK is a good thing. Yes I'm over 30... By many years
Definitely Sick. I'm not sure how a 355 would look but the term Wicked comes to mind. A friend of mine bought from them although it was a different style.. some words from experience here... The company can photoshop them on for you if you ask. My advice is that if you do want them, you need to play broke because they are KNOWN to not have cement pricing. Say you want 'em.... get them to send you the pictures... play broke afterwards when/if they call back, etc. be ready to deal because you can save yourself $1000 using words. The last bit of advice is DO NOT pay them in full until they're ready to ship. They sometimes drag their feet. In the end the only thing they have going for them are nice designs, because they cost $ and the service could be better.
