I don't think so. But McLaren will be doing a couple of track days in Sepang. Can try to get you an invite. You may end up buying one after that. Congrats on your new babe. Nice color.

Thanks bud. Would love to see one of their cars in action around the track. And indeed see your car in the flesh at some point! It looks truly lovely in the pics and reminds me of the mighty F1 GTR.

On the whole, i prefer it to the 458. While the 458 looks sexy, i love the lines of the Mac and when the doors are open, it's a real beauty. The driver's seat is very comfortable and it's a perfect fit for me in comparison to the racing seats of the 458. Visibility of the car is fantastic as well. The interior is a bit more spartan with no glove compartment or side door pockets. So not much storage room in the car. I guess they really stick to the motto of weight saving.

With 3 different modes for power train and handling. The car changes it's character with the change in mode. You can actually hear the car make a hiss when you change the mode. No other car in the market offers this. The acceleration feels more powerful vs the 458. On corners, the grip is firm, with the help of the brake steer. The torque beats the Ferrari hands down. With the sports exhaust, it sounds aggressive on acceleration, however on downshifts, it pales in comparison to the 458. In the sound dept, Ferrari is better.

Some little things that need getting use to:
    1. The paddle shift needs getting use to. It's smaller and needs a bit more effort to switch gears. Engaging the neutral requires holding on the left paddle for 3 seconds.
    2. The seat is below the sill. So a bit of getting use to getting in and out. Not easy for bigger guys.
    3. Opening and closing the door is an acquired skill.
    4. Have to watch where you park and try to make a bit more space on the driver side.

It is unique in it's own way, unlike any Ferrari or Lambo. Most who have taken a test drive have good things to say about it. They have a test drive car. Go for a spin. Denis is a great guy knows his business and a good driver. He can show you how to drive this baby.

    don't think so ...

don't get me wrong, it's an amazing machine ... I can't live with it mainly due to the wide sill getting in and out ...

    Hey King...
Am surprised you said the Ferrari 458 has better sound. I thought the Mac with sports exos would be great. But I am sure its not that bad either!
I like turboed cars...and the fanstastic torque that comes with them. Never get tired of
the awesome pulling feeling when its in the band.
    Enjoy your new ride!

Ah the magic of photoshop. Thought you might do long exposure, have you tried light painting? I'd like to do it one of these nights.

Think a side by side comparison of the two models with the same back drop would be best jon.
