So why the decision to separate from the cars n coffee crowd? This was one of the few events I went to every month.

 

The Ferrari Club gets together once a quarter to have breakfast and catch up with everyone. Its actually just for Italian cars (Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati, and Ducati bikes) but we had a few others show up this time and join us. It was a great event with a great turn out! We will all still continue to do the CnC as well except for when we have these once a quarter events.

 

When the first Saturday returns in April will the cars n' coffee group move to the theater?

Didnt get to make it...how was the turnout?

 

Turnout wasn't bad. The new spot is excellent and completely private and out of general view. Much bigger than the last spot, so it should be great once the weather really gets nice. Probably about 60 cars there today.

 

Okay, I haven't been out to a meet in about two or three months, and since then there have been a few posts that reference two different events. I'm used to going down to the Starbucks in Cool Springs on the first Saturday of the month to check out the exotics. What's changed? New venue, clearly. Where is it? What time? Is the first Saturday still when the exotics come out to play?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, guys.

 

I thought the Nashville C&C was held on the FIRST saturday of every month? Or has that changed along with the location?

 

Here's what I received recently. Apparently exotics will show up on the first Saturdays unless a Tn FCA event conflicts. June 2 is Bella Napoli so I will expect I'll be going there instead.

Please come out for Cars (Motorcycles) & Coffee – Saturday, March 31st.

(Last week there were about 80 Cars & Motorcycles)

Please pass on the information about this event - It is scheduled every Saturday until mid November.



Time: 8am- until the last vehicle leaves

Place: NEW LOCATION - 633 Frazier Drive, Franklin. (the Carmike Thoroughbred 20 Theater parking lot closest to McDonald’s) More room to add participants. It is also only about ¼ mile from the old Carrabba’s Restaurant location



Refreshment opportunities: Bread & Co and McDonalds are a few hundred yards from event or the old Starbucks is across Cool Springs Blvd. (1/4 mile)



Housekeeping notes:

Don’t forget to bring your folding chair so you can eat and just take a load off.



There are two items of consideration that everyone needs to keep in mind;



1) There are no trash receptacles in the Carmike Theater parking lot, so it will be each person’s responsibility to make sure that they pick up their coffee cup, biscuit wrappers, napkins and other forms of trash and dispose of the refuse in the proper location.

2) Driving onto and exiting the parking lot - PLEASE DRIVE SLOW AND RESPONSIBLY! The demise of most Cars and Coffee events has been due to trash and the what kind of condition the parking lot has been left in after the Cars and Coffee, then secondly, how participants drive into and out of the Cars and Coffee site. As I have mentioned before “testosterone and horse power is a dangerous mix”. Please enter the parking lot slowly, drive through the parking lot slowly and exit the parking lot slowly. Once you have left the parking lot and are on Frasier Drive, continue to drive appropriately. If you feel the “need for speed” and to “throttle up”, please at least wait till you are a mile away from the parking lot before you do anything. We do not want that activity to be associated with the Cars and Coffee event.

 

Good post and I agree. I too worry about keeping the event alive. It would be a shame to lose it now that we have come so far. I have never seen the place left in a mess. The fast driving thing is another story.

 

Saturday should have a great turnout at the new movie theater location! weather should be PERFECT

 

So, is Cars and Coffee tomorrow?

 

Yep. It's at the the Thoroughbred Cinemas location described above. Should be a perfect morning.

 

Sweet! I plan to be there. It will be my first one and sadly I don't own a Ferrari.

Looked like a fantastic turn out judging by the great pictures and video!
458 Italia, F40, SLS, Aventador, Maserati Gran Turismo MC, and all the other beautiful cars that showed up! I can't wait until I get back home for my summer break in May!
