Actually, it was Sld7 that asked for opinions.... sticky has been fully consistent in whining about the fact that others think differently from the start.. ;)

Spoke today to someone and they said to do the headers and race cats first, drive the car for a week and then do the ECU.

    Any opinions?

sld, not sure why you would drive the car for a week after you install the headers and cats, then do the ecu. the car wont run properly because the factory ecu is tuned to the factory exhaust. so its best to do it all at once. this way you have a complete package.Thats one of the main reasons I chose fabspeed.Simply installing a muffler and doing no tuning is sort of pointless, other than a little sound difference. imo.

audi, as stated I wasn't the one who started this thread. You should probably check your facts before unloading on me about forum etiquette.

And im not the one whining about my warrant, just saying

If you guys give me about two weeks, i'll put up some photos of the exhaust installed and do a review of the results. positive or negative.

Well Fabspeed was actually the ones that suggested this......

They said to do the Race Cats and Headers and let the car adjust and then do the ECU to get maximum benefit.

    Am I missing something here?

My bad ... didn't meant to imply that Sld7 was whining.

Im in the same boat as you. Looking for someone out here in socal that can properly tune my 599. After a few searches, I came across this company that tuned for a shop out in Los Angeles called GI Motorsport. Gains look noticeable compared to other tuners getting 25hp.

Found one thread on 6speed and the other on their own website

Right now I'm weighing between them and Fabspeed but leaning towards ECU Tuning Group just because they have a dealer in OC
