wooo very nice!!
Some of the best upgrades to the most awesome looking car I have seen in a while. Congrats and enjoy it.
@NB: i like the metall look of the console and so carbon was not my first choice. @Edward: I love the Scud and the style of the Scud bumpers but i think a Scud is a Scud and a F430 is a F430 and so i made my upgrades without changing the original design in a heavy way. @all: thanks for the kind words.
A friend who mades carbon parts for Porsche, made some nice F430 parts and he made me a diffusor. I like the look with the "integrated" fins. One Scud part went into the engine bay! I thought the F430 water tank doesn´t match very well with the carbon parts in the engine bay and so i build in the Scud tank, because it is black and has the 4 points to fix the carbon cover and my friend made a new carbon cover because my original Scud carbon part had the typical white shadows. Christian Your car looks stunning, i really like the diffuser your friend has made, can he or will he make any more
You dont see a fully black F430 with black interior that often... and as for contrast (you need them, it hints of taste), bits of yellow here and there, on the calipers and badge on the outside, and the main dial inside, touches of matt black as well...goodness this ride's simply gorgeous! Congrats CD! There's a certain understated look about it thats really appealing. One gentle, albeit superfluous and some might say totally unneccessary hint... not everything needs to be in carbon fibre buddy... the beauty of this car lies in the fact that it doesnt look overdone... here and there is perfect enough... Then again its your ride...stunning as it already is...
Hi all, thanks a lot for the kind words! The big response on the thread makes a lot of fun and i will keep you informed on any new upgrade or with new pics. @Paul: i will ask after the carbon parts, which made by my friend and post pics and data asap. Greetings Christian
This has to be the most tasteful mod thread I have ever seen....classy...top notch! Cheers for all the thought you have put into your ride.
Very nice indeed. I have both a 458 and a 430, and one of the things I like about the 430 is that the engine bay is so much more interesting; there is much more to see. You have done a wonderful job in making it an exceptional display.
Hi all, here are some updates. I change the exhaust bracket, from the heavy and stiff original part, to the Capristo bracket which guarantee that the complete exhaust system can "work" while it get hot. So the rattle noise after start up, and some bad frequencys while driving will be eleminated and the headers didn´t crack. And it saves near 4 Kg. And i build in the Capristo remote kit for the exhaust valve! First, i didn´t like that the remote control has a key fob style and i didn´t like to have it at the key and i didn´t like to have the control in a case of the centerconsole. So i decided, as a non-smoker , that i didn´t need the cigarette lighter anymore and i strip it down to the 2 pieces which needed for "clicking" it back in the lighter port and fixed the remote control on it. Now the remote control is perfect integrated in the centerconsole: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
