Someone left a note on my car today...

I agree the guy is a hater.

But I truly hate vanity plates. Especially ones that say things like "cash talks". It's just a silly thing to do. It's unnecessary. Way cooler to just have a normal plate.

 

Thats a shame... I cant belive that someone is that miserable that they had to take the time to write that note and put it on your car just to try and ruin your day. I havent had that happen to me yet as I am in the market for a ferrari but with wemen all the time hatters!!!

I'm 21, but I don't care what other says, they are jealous that's it.

But i suggest that you change your plate lol This is a bit arrogant.

 

Never had a note but one time I was leaving a bar and opening my door. This D bag walks by and says that's a "fake Ferrari". I just said yup sure is a fake ferrari from Italy and drove off. Lol Happened to me like twice obviously jealous and hating but oh well what can you do. I'm 27 btw.

 

Nobody knows the back story though.

Vanity plates tell everyone "hey, I know my car is bad ass. Look at me look at me".

Regular plate says "my car is bad ass? I had no idea. I though everyone drove one of these".

It's like comparing Vanilla Ice to James Bond.

 

Lucky that's all they left you. I would loose the plates for sure. Plates like that here in aust
would give a green light for some cockhead to do so damage.

I agree that most people just like being around the F-cars and enjoy looking at them. But there are a few.... So a word to the wise. You were lucky that you weren't keyed or worse. Those who advise a regular plate are on the right track, even though there is a neat business reason for the one you have.

The general idea is to reduce your radar cross section. You are young, have a business, and know what you are doing. But it's a funny world, and there are politicians out there pumping up a lot of people on class warfare. Be cautious.

 

Don't change the plate.

Its just a hater, and no matter what the plate they will continue the hate.

I was at my favorite watering hole one sunday with my 430 and flirting and having fun with the women/patrons in the place---------when I walked outside to the 430 it had a big "spit" on the windshield of the car. Not sure if it was my wife or some other woman that I pissed off.

 

Sorry to here that really sucks, I would be pretty pissed! I usually only take it to certain places where they have doormen or security so it's in their view. I'm in a small city so there not to many 360/430s running around.

 

I was glad that it was "just" a mammoth sized spit instead of a big key scratch down the side.

 

Be wary of that location where you park your car henceforth. There's nothing stopping that w@nk3r to attempt the next level of jealousy. Personally, I don't like how they touched your car, to place the piece of paper.

Suggestion; instead of waiting, why don't you get one or two (wire it to a separate battery source) of those motion sensing dashcams (check out ebay) and place it where you think the person will have to walk/look into your car to do 'things'. Find out who they are, and decide if you want to take any action...

I don't think I've ever received anything but compliments, grins, thumbs up, and waves. Certain "cool" people typically wearing shades don't seem to notice but no, never any negative comments or notes.

Don't worry about the jealous people out there. Enjoy living your life (as long as you're not causing anyone any pain or anguish). I don't care if you have a vanity plate or not, you may come across a hater when out enjoying your Ferrari... EFF-EM! Don't let them ruin your day!

 

I never park it and leave it out of my sight. Maybe a little too anal, but I worked too hard to get that car to leave it parked unattended.

If it was one of a collection of 60 cars paid for by a family trust fund, I wouldn't worry so much about it!
