I saw a (pre-publication?) copy at Horton's stand at Amelia Island. You will find that it is well worth the wait! Jack
Gents Your eagerness is reassuring. The book at Amelia Island was a pre-production example, and the delay is because we are improving the product. We have corrected some typos and had to reprint a couple of sections due to added information becoming available. We've also moved to better quality end-papers which needed reprinting, and we've also UV gloss coated some pages to improve the appearance. The finished book should be really high quality, and a product that anyone who owns it will really enjoy. Nathan
Nathan, Been a few weeks since I heard from you or Ronald ! Will the printing of the Postcard book also be delayed or will it come together with the Brochure book now? Regards, Koen
Hi Koen I sent you an email on April 4 which I didn't get an answer to, so I've just resent it. The postcard book will be after the brochure book. The postcard book is 95% finished but we need to get the brochure book finished first as many people are waiting for it. We are putting pressure on our printer and the binder is ready and waiting. Sorry for the delay but I'm sure that it will be worth it. Nathan

Got my hands on the 917 book - sold out and is offered used at Amazon for >120, but I got it for the regular price of 59 brand new Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have that book - it's fantastic, even though it is in German! Please tell us where you got it from at that price. Nathan
The bookshop in the Klassikstadt (a classic car center in an old factory - dealers, repair shops etc) in Frankfurt. They had two left, one already opened and one still wrapped. Now they only have the opened one
Porsche 917 by Naher is one of the best books ever, the detailed history is amazing. It seems that there are a few in stock and are sold for Euro 59,95 at Dutch carbook specialist http://www. autonetclassic.nl Hugo
Latest addition to my library: Le briglie del successo by Enzo Ferrari. Hugo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the thumbs up Nathan. Few weeks ago I bought Das Autobuch by Stuck & Burggaller. It's published in 1933 and according to Kees van Stokkum (Dutch Ferrari historian who gave an excellent presentation on Ferrari in the 1920-30's yesterday for Ferrari Club Nederland members) it's the first book where the Scuderia Ferrari is mentioned. It's written in Gothic German, not so easy to read but a nice piece of Ferrari history. Hugo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Florian & other Näher-917-book-fans, The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart still has these available at the same price, in case anyone else is looking for it. They don't do mail orders however, so you'd have to buy it in the Museum's shop directly (as I did last year, the books were still available earlier this month). Ciao, Lars T.
Added another one to the collection thanks to V12books.com: Le Corse Ruggenti about Enzo's career as a racing car driver. There is also an English edition of this book called The Roaring Races. Hugo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ciao Marten, Do you know if there is a difference (content wise), between the book you posted (lie mie gioie terribli) and these two ? thanks Y Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ciao! As far as i know the books shown in your pictures are translations of the original Italian edition. I don't have the 2 books shown but i don't think there's much difference in content. le mie gioie terribili was published in many different languages , for example I also have it in Dutch. Best, Maarten Edit: Just went true both books , there's a difference in pictures in my Dutch edition and the original book. Maybe others can also answer. I think most differences are in pictures not in text. .
Just added "Ferrari and Maserati in Action" by Hans Tanner to my collection. It's one of the oldest books I have, it was funny to read that Fangio was only a four time World Champion at the time the book was written...quite a shock for someone following F1 from the beginning of the eighties...
Maarten's info is correct, le mie gioie terribili is the base for many translations, English, German, Dutch, Japanese, French. Hugo Image Unavailable, Please Login
