More "female sex organs" have chimed in? http://www.pistonheads.com/lotus/default.asp?storyId=25539 http://jalopnik.com/5902400/how-did-the-worlds-fastest-lotus-crash-into-a-freeway-wall
Another video - slightly different. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57409389/65-foot-yacht-burns-off-malibu-california/
I don't know the area. Is it a two-lane road? Looks like a divided four+ lane freeway to me. If so, the rest of the section quoted doesn't apply.
I done a bit of searching about the tyres and this is what I came across. DOT labeled Hoosier Racing Tires meet Department of Transportation requirements for marking and performance only and are NOT INTENDED FOR HIGHWAY USE. It is unsafe to operate any Hoosier Racing Tire including DOT tires on public roads. The prohibited use of Hoosier Racing Tires on public roadways may result in loss of traction, unexpected loss of vehicle control, or sudden loss of tire pressure, resulting in a vehicle crash and possibly injury or death.
He has Kumho tires, not Hoosiers. I don't care one way or the other, but this sure looks like a witch hunt to me...
Is that him with the white cane? He still had the stache in the video of him walking ashore from the boat insurance thingy April 4th? Sheesh, this guy(Frank Profanity) really knows how to stir the pot. I'd suggest he stay indoors for a while and stay low. This is getting better than the Malibu crashed Enzo story.
According to Kumho they are street legal, I was a bit surprised though. http://www.kumhotireusa.com/tire/category/comp-race/E8FB9151-1ABA-48EB-8017-B13BC6B9E6B2
Could be ... but usually a witch hunt doesn't materilize out of thin air. There is a reason some people are reacting the way they are and I don't think "jealousy" and "haters" have much if anything to do with it. Some people just seem to rub others the wrong way and then it snowballs from there. It's probably even worse on the internet since there's no face to face meeting and people are just interpreting character through words. I don't know Ronin and have never met him but I would say that his character (interpreted through his posts) leaves something to be desired. If in reality there was no Porsche involved and he came on the forum and simply said ... "yep ... bad judgement, lost the back end, glad I didn't hurt anyone, etc." I'm sure the reactions would be considerably different. Instead he blasted away with a string of profanity (exact words indicated on other forums) directed at all Porsche owners which is anything but a mature response to the situation. If you read his comments regarding the "other driver" you have to admit that they are a little overboard. It's no surprise that people are responding the way the are.
is there some kind of context for the photo in the opening post? is that ronin? is that some blind man?
