I agree - the new Boxster is a grand slam, IMHO, so would expect the Cayman to be at or near the same level.

That's a terrific photo - actually looks better than the Vanquish as photographed.

I agree - that pic is brilliant. The photo truly makes the car look better than it really is.

I spent a long time looking at it... its not huge, its just different. I wanted it to be huge or bigger (so I could say I didn't like it) but it really wasn't. Same basic size as-far-as the eye could tell... but it looked longer and lower maybe?

My first impression was that they took all the VW Beetle's DNA out of the 911's traditional shape. More serious perhaps, but less fun and sentimental.

It is still not an Aston Martin. Thank the powers of the universe - although Aston Martins are beautiful in their own way.

I still have one of the last of the air-cooled 993 Targas for that very reason. My stepson has a 997, but I was just not interested.

It is not just the looks - it is also the sound, the smell (air cooled heater), the proper five dial dash (not overlapped), the weird gearshift, the perfect willingness to spin on lift throttle (yes, still in the 993 if you try) - just the whole thing. I still love the last of the best.
