Awesome turnout at Zumbach's Caffeine and Carburetors today in New Canaan. Some of the more unusual Ferrraris included the dark green FF that I saw around Zumbach's last week, Tom Yang and his 330 America and Chip DuPont and his 500 Superfast: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Had a 300sl gullwing go by me Sat. afternoon in Manchester Vt what a sight and sound that is to see out on the road.
That was a 1974 De Tomaso Longchamp, a four seater with a Ford 351 Cleveland engine in it. I spent some time talking with the owner and it is a very rare car built at a time when American European "hybrids" were popular. Here is the story about the car, I hope that it is readable: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Six times a year, April, May, June, September, October and November. Next one is May 20. It is a car junkie's dream with an eclectic mix of sports, exotics, vintage, classic, hot rod, trucks and motorcycles. Something for everyone. Couple of hours admiring cars, drinking coffee, chatting with people, snapping pictures and then a 40 minute tour up into the countryside. Even though there is a large group of regulars, there always seems to be several cars that haven't been seen before or that are really rare cars. One of the rarer ones last week was a real Camaro Yenko with a 427. No charge, no fee, just a lot of fun. www.caffeineandcarburetors.com Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Well, the good news for Sunday is that the Sox didn't lose another game to the Yankees! Of course, with the rain out, they didn't win either but, with the way things have been going with the Sox lately, any day they don't lose is a good day!
2004 and 2007 may just be aberrations for lifelong Sox fans! Can't get your hopes up too much, although the way that they came back and caused the Yankees to suffer the worst comeback loss in playoff history in 2004 was sweetness beyond compare, especially for someone like me living practically in enemy territory down here in SW CT!
red 328 GTS on 95N in Dartmouth at 12:50. Car looked very very shiny, even from the other side of the highway. Anyone on here? Also, a Maroon 430 Coupe on custom wheels at the Chestnut Hill Mall ~8:00
