While I hear the folks in PA are getting a lot of snow, those of us in Chicago are having surprisingly decent weather. After going for a run this morning I took a shot of the Mondial's engine bay. I thought I'd share it with everyone here. :D

This is brilliant -- I am humbled! Lotsa room in there with no fuel distributor, etc.

I nice motor. You just gave me my answer about the red valve covers and black belt covers. I was not sure to do mine like this. Now I know. Thanks!

This thing goes like a bat out of H-E-double toothpicks, too. I've driven regular Mondial 3.2's, and they don't compare. When this thing hits the 3k RPM range, it's all over. I suspect it could even give my V10 S8 a run for the money.

Here's my two year old enthusiastically telling me about the horse on the car (he tells me that there's also one on my Porsche). So far we've had some great afternoon drives together. Tomorrow AM we're going on a run while my wife is out for acupuncture.

For you Mondial aficionados, also notice it has a custom cleaner rear valence with wider exhaust exit cutouts and bigger resonators.

I can go on and on.... :)

    I certainly noticed.

Russ, I'm not sure why you sold me this car but I'm beyond grateful to own and drive it. I can only imagine what sort of magic you'd work on a Mondial T if you purchase one.

I still think there needs to be an R-Gruppe type collective for Mondial and 3x8 owners.

I am glad it went to a family - it is a family Ferrari. It was part of ours for 16 years.

As to what I would do with a t -- lets just say it's already been thought about and very, very subtle....

It has to start with the right car, though. No hurry.

That motor is a piece of art. I seriously considered this car when Russ was selling but didn't feel I had the self control to keep myself out of trouble with it!
    Enjoy Dizengoff.

Same car, different year, different airbox(es).
That is at the Ferrari dealer here in San Antonio.

    Also much less window tint.

Here's a couple shots I took this morning. We took a run up to Glencoe Beach, at Park and Sheridan. One of my favorite spots to bring the family. There's a wonderful park overlooking a bluff, and then a nice beach below. Sheridan is filled with lots of great twisting roads along this route. And no, those trees aren't dead. We don't typically see spring weather until late April/early May.

Sounds like a plan. My son loves the place because of the park, and my wife loves it for the view. I'm pretty tired of living in the city...I'd love to buy something in that area.

Nice shots of a beautiful engine. Since they're gratuitous, I appreciated the full frontal shot!

i don't know what it is with that broad, ordinarily i would love to see a woman of her looks 'full frontal' but she turns me off so much that i felt a lunch time carrot come up just slightly. I think its her 'other' videos that made me ill of her and who she chooses to bed.
