This is a 2001 XJ8 LWB. Purchased it about a year ago with 62k on the odometer. It now has 66k miles. It's a very nice care to drive and the extra room in the back seat is great. The exterior color is Westminster Blue with cream inside. The only issue I have is the seat heater on the driver side is not working. Other than that, this car is great. Your mum bought a good year. They started using metal tensioners versus plastic after the August 2000 build. However, you may want to check the thermostat. I believe all XJ's from 98-03 were fitted with plastic thermostats, which tend to leak. It's best to upgrade to a metal one.
